I can't believe I'm getting emotional over a virtual tangerine cat 😭
After I built the three houses at the beginning of the game I was like “okay it’s time to do a bit of a hunt because the only villagers I like at the moment are Bianca and Derwin.” And I found Sherb on the first ticket. He was one of my dreamies. Also one of my plots auto filled with Diana, another dreamy villager.
I don't have any of my dreamies yet and I have 5(including my starter villagers), I have Scoot, Hazel, Margie, Tammi(I bully her daily), and Doc, my favorites are Scoot and Margie, I hate Tammi with a burning passion, I just mildly dislike Doc, and I'm indifferent to Hazel, basically the two sides of the spectrum are "I'd sell my soul to get this villager"(Audie and Tangy and 8 others), and "I'd start fucking sobbing if I got this villager"(Al and Diva)
When I built my first 3 I didn’t even know villager hunting was a thing so I let them auto fill, I got punchy, poppy, and cookie. Looking back now idk how I got so lucky lol
Sherb is also one of my dreamies and my good friend, Samantha gave him too me for free. I AM SO HAPPPPY 🥺

I actually also got a dreamie in animal crossing about 2 days ago, it was ketchup! I was looking for a pink/red/purple villager to get on my island, and I shockingly got ketchup in 3 tickets! I actually contemplated taking her because she was a peppy and I already have like 2 or 3 peppy villagers, but when I googled how rare she was and Remembered she was a dreamie of mine, I took her instantly.
Yesterday I was like "froggy found coco on a dreamie hunt I should try it!" I got a penguin, a tiger, and an ape Dx

When I saw her pull out the map, I got excited because she doesn’t have like this crazy city, it looks like a literally deserted island like it should be.
I swear I was really new to the game and wanted some cute villagers without knowing which ones were “good” so I use the very first ticket and the first island I go to is one with Sherb. I invite him in and looking back I just can’t believe how lucky I was.

One time I found tangy on a hunt but it wasn't a normal island... it was ORANGE island! I was so happy and surprised, mainly because of the orange trees, but I didn't take her since she doesn't fit my theme, cottagecore. and I regretted that, because I didn't find a dreamie
i remember my SHORTEST dreamie hunt was 1 ticket and i found peitro for my kidcore island, i love him :)
