Douglas Murray in superb form as always. His conversational speech is more literate and grammatical than most people's prepared statements. There are three columns I immediately turn to when The Spectator drops through my letterbox - Douglas Murray, Rod Liddle and Lionel Shriver. They're worth the subscription on their own.
When I read the words 'three columns' and 'Spectator' my mind immediately gave me the same three names although, if I am honest, I put Rod Liddle first for pure entertainment value. Toby Young and 'No sacred cows' is also usually worth a look.
How I wish that I could talk like Douglas Murray. So well informed, articulate and witty. One of those people who I would enjoy listening to on just about any subject.
