George B likes originality, Norman took this song and made it his own. George wudda been proud of him. George never plays on expression the same way twice. He embraces variance. To take this masterpiece and play around with it says a lot about your musical versatility. Big ups to Norman B.
Hey Benson fans, Norman Brown is great. It seems on all Norman B. post someone brings up "He is not as good as George" If you only have one guy you can like and run down the rest. You are missin out on a lot of great music.
I like the take he was trying to out do GB no one can. He just brought his flavour and it teased nice well Norman and Nick. Both great guitarist both in my collection. I'm a guitarist too big it up guys
MAN I have been searching for this song for a long time I remember it from my childhood but never could find the title. Everyone I asked knew what I was talking about when I whistled it but no one ever knew the title thanks for the upload man honestly thank you.
Man, I had to call the Jazz station and attempt to hum it, and eventually tried playing it on the guitar. The DJ was very patient, and when he finally told me it was George Benson, I was shocked! I knew him for his songs like On Broadway, Give The Night, etc.
That is true Roy. He was in Japan with Earl Klugh and his group. There was a Big Party given for them ,celebrating the tours end. Benson said he would show later. When the fellows returned to the hotel around 3 A.M, They heard George in the room practicing!
GB's fan check out the upcoming first ever tribute to GB ..feat.. George Duke. Phil Perry Ronnie Foster,Patrice Rushen , Paul JAckson JR .. and much much more ...Preface inntroduction written by George Benson himself ...

I was reading an article about George Benson that after he does his shows he will stay up and practice for 1 or 2 hours.

All intro?
I’m guessing that’s either an American or Japanese D’Angelico New Yorker.
Really good performace that was pretty entertaining but of them together couldn't do this song like George himself
They did it better than George benson
I mean it IS GB's song so you can't help but compare... They're good... But benson was BAD!!
