Stormin' Norman! :-) a generational talent in the realm of Wes & George....I listen and get an immediate eargasm! BRAZILMIA my favorite (Love's Holiday)
This guy is so great I listen to George Benson all my life then along came Noman Brown man I was born the right time I'm going to leave Earth quite contented keep Blessed Bro
Wow....this Dude!!!!! My goodness!!!! It's like he's playing two guitars at the same time. He's making one note sound like two....bending notes....chord changes in the blink of an eye.....playing rhythm and lead guitar at the same time (listen to Lydian)....transitions....progressions....regressions on a dime. He utilizes the bass strings which many guitarist don't. Plus he plays an in your face style which I love....not playing apologetically. He gives you something for the trained ear and casual listener. My God.... what more can I say. Thank you Norman Brown for all the hard work and dedication....because you don't simply learn to play like that .....you have to love it and dedicate your life to it, to learn to play like that! Thank you Norman and everyone who helped you along the way, to become the great artist you are!
I had a chance to see Norman twice at the now defunct Caravan of Dreams in Fort Worth, TX. I remember those concerts. I remember thinking man, this cat came to play. He was playing an Ibanez GB-20, if memory serves me I remember because we talked about his guitar after the show. It was a little bigger than the GB-10.
Storming Norman Brown with 96.3 WHUR’s owns Angela Stribling this is So fitting with her voice oh did I mention she’s sometimes the host of Original Quiet Storm along with pillow talk Mon-Fri at midnights on WHUR 96.3 sounds like Washington .
Tell that to Parliament/Funkadelic because they made classic songs that have keyboard basslines besides the songs with bass guitar. Oh yeah, the bass guitar is also used in the video. You must have cut the video during the first song.
Vintage Norman Brown... possibly the greatest jazz guitarist of ever!

There is no bass guitar ????? If the case I feel a bit sorry .. since no bass .. funk can’t be funk !! True bass cant be replaced by keyboards !!!!!
There is

There is a rotation between Keyboard AND Bass Guitar
@Kassius KLAY It sure can if the replacerer is B3 ...
this drummer is not listening to anything other than the line of coke taken before the set I would guess. He is rushing tempos.
