Great video, thank you. Just changed my filter on my '12 for the first time. 😂 And you would be surprised what the dealers don't do. Have a great day man.
Yes unfortunately it's really common for the dealer to say they changed it and charge you but never actually change it because it's something that's so hard to check. Glad the video got you through it. I really appreciate the feedback.
Thanks! Easy to do and yes, there are more screws than mentioned. The whole box comes out with a little force not bad. I still don't know what the "glow stick" looking thing was for. Mine wasn't plugged in so I just screwed it back on the backside and left it. Thanks for the video. Helped tremendously!
It filters the air coming into your car thru your HVAC system. If you don’t plan on changing it, you should remove it completely because they can build up with leaves and stuff and get all mouldy and then they are very unhealthy for you.
Are all 8 screws you removed the size size? Why would you not remove them and keep track of them in a small cup or someplace instead of in the glove box?

Thanks for the video. Dealer quoted me $69.99 for cabin air filter replacement. After watching your video i changed the filter myself for only $10.

What is a cabin air filter for? I don't understand why I should change one even if it has it. It's so dumb.

They were the same size but yes, I separated them just in case.
The other stupidity from Kia Korea cars is the Blower motor location: OMG, what stupid people or engineers.
That is the most disgusting filter I ever see. How people are so stupid and dirty.
