Hi, Simon, this has been a wonderful video. We have been producing generations of "music machines" who are great technicians but lack the humanity and warmth of human musical expression. And, it is apparent in both the Classical and Jazz worlds. We can only play notes when we are unaware or ignore concepts such as crescendo/decrescendo and expansion/resolution as you covered so clearly in your video. Highly recommended for "students" of all levels of musicianship.

Amazing guitar lesson! I learned... I'm still learning a lot with this video as happened with the lágrima classical guitar lesson!

Don't forget the rests in the melody. The phrasing seems to fall into two bar phrases with the final quarter note of the melody in every second bar being rested. I imagine it acts as a sort of anacrusis for the melody to breath before the next phrase. Btw I too took to playing this piece as you've fingered it. I hadn't played it for a long time so it's like visiting an old friend. Thanks.

I want you to know that I may well have missed you holding the notes as written. I reread my comment and it fairly reeked of hubris. I didn't mean it that way at all. Thank you, and my apologies for any misunderstanding from my first comment.
