- The 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of Bee and PuppyCat came and went so what lasting legacy does it have? From the Netflix series Lazy in Space to the short lived VRV one what do we really have at the end? Will the series be remembered fondly or will it just be remembered for its ten painful years?

Honestly the slice of life aspects of the show is the more enjoyable aspect to the show but the narrative is a bit confusing but not too complicated.😺

Bee and Puppycat was never coherent, however its greatest issue is that the scope of the project only grew as time goes on. It was at it's peak when it was a youtube series because thats when it was young and free. Think of adventure time, it was simple and fun but only got more complex and developed as the story developed. Bee and Puppycat skipped development and instead opted for restarting on different platforms while only becoming more complex, if they had just stuck to one platform and continued making the story, they definitely could have had a beautifully weaved story instead of the messes we got.
The wait was worth it if you ask me. Yeah it sucks that certain parts of the original web series didn't make it into the netflix version. But I'm excited to see where they take us next with the series. Because I would literally riot if bee and puppycat doesn't get a 2nd season. (Which I think it was already in the deal)
For the most part I prefer the VRV version of the show, animation, style, and story-wise. Something I realized when watching the VRV show which was absent in the netflix series was how much more satisfying it felt to finish each episode, because there was always something new revealed, (beit minor details about characters or major lore hints) so it always felt like I was learning more about the world alongside the cozy vibes.
As much as I enjoyed the vibes of the netflix series, there were *some* episodes that felt like nothing happened and it was ultimately kind of a waste of time.
I remember that at the time Cartoon Hangover was seen as the future for Online Cartoons, but in the end i think neither Bee and Puppycat nor Bravest Warriors exploded into fame like it was expected.

Bee and puppycat is rather mixed show in my opinion on one hand it has beautiful animation and I think bee and puppycat themselves are really interesting characters and I really like their backstories I also like the characters of deckard and cardamon but the rest of deckard family members and the townspeople I really didn’t like them if I had to choose my favourite season I would honestly have to go with season 1 but i overall would highly recommend bee and puppycat now ladies and gentlemen we wait another 4 years for the next season of bee and puppycat
As someone who experienced Bee and PuppyCat for the first time with the Netflix version I really loved it. They have enough lore to think about and make ya question things, but not enough to be too distracting from the relaxed vibe. I can see how people who saw the original and waited forever would be disappointed, but for me it was lovely and I hope we get more.
While I appreciate the show's calm atmosphere and trippy visuals, I really wish they expanded more on the overarching plot and backstories surrounding the main characters. The fact that they barely touched on them made whenever they did reveal something new about them just feel confusing. It also felt too slow-paced a lot of the time, making episodes feel like a bore to sit through. Plus, most of the humor was more awkward than it was actually funny.
I wish the show got some sort of continuation so we could get more answers to what they've set up, but it doesn't look like that's happening anytime soon. I feel like Steven Universe was a better execution of what it tried to be.

Hardcore VRV\season 1 only fan. The problem with Netflix\Lazy in Space is that it doesn’t answer the questions fans had, it gave them answers to questions they never asked.

From all the hype and appeal since the show was first public to right now, Id never seen a show that has never wanted me to actually watch it like bnp.
I hate this show, mainly cuz I love the original web series. The Netflix show feels like a messy aftermath of a game of telephone. Like someone who was explaining what Bee and Puppycat was to a network executive instead of flat out showing them the original show and faithfully adapting the shows best features. It’s sucks, like straight up ass. I’ll stick to the original web show and pretend that the Netflix shit never happened

He talks like he watched content creator speech TH-cam videos for 5min, erased his personality and plowed forward. Speaking like thhhhhis..... Every third wooooord...... Is less efffectivvvvvve.... when you do it non-stop the entire time. At the 5min mark he begins talking with far less of this infliction bc he's speaking personal interest and opinion and it's a wonderful video for the loss of the bs speech.
This is one of those videos I have to watch at .75 to understand it because of the fast talking and unnecessary quick edits... unfortunately it doesn't get rid of the cringe.

Both are great! Just don’t bring any woke or things that are happening now. In my opinion watching a amine, cartoon or movie shouldn’t be about current events should be about fantasy nothing what real life is about. That’s why I read books takes me to another place not here. Just my opinion why mess it up with real life events.
