I honestly had my gripes with the Netflix series at first with how the voice acting wasn’t as energetic as it was on the online series. But I just shut up and kept watching it and started realizing that I actually enjoy the show. It’s not as energetic as it was before but it makes up In it’s humor and story. I liked the idea of deckard leaving in the first couple of episodes and bee having a big responsibility of helping to look after deckards family and help them when she can. I was honestly kinda tired of the whole will they/won’t they with bee and deckard, I hope deckard and bee do end up together perhaps when deckard comes back from school and the two go out to catch up and talk before realizing they missed each other. This show was my childhood and I’m happy to enjoy it in adulthood. Go watch it so it can get more seasons!

I like that take! Though considering the route Netflix took with Dekard and Bee's relationship I don't think it'd be appropriate for them to get together. It was implied that she was already grown and had a part in Dekard's upbringing and she sees him as a younger brother rather than a love interest... (I don't really know how he feels towards her but it's clear that he likes her)

I hated the direction they took with Deckards role at first but I think you really put it into perspective. Deckard and his relationship with Bee represent the older vision of the show that couldn’t really be realized in the reboot. Him leaving is a sad but natural development saying “hey this can’t be the same show you knew but that’s okay.”

I’m just going to pretend that the original is canon. I appreciate the efforts behind the remake and watched some of it, but I just can’t live in a universe where Bee doesn’t steal candy or yell “I’m shoving the crotch ice under the door!”

I have such a weird relationship with Bee and Puppycat. I contributed to the kickstarter as a poor college student, but was only able to watch maybe 3 episodes total. They sent the links to kickstarter patrons, but it seemed to have a very small window of time that you could watch them. So while I was drowning in final student projects, the series uploaded and vanished before I could view them. And then I didn't get any further word on anything until the Netflix announcement.
I dunno how any other kickstarter people faired, but I was sure bummed.

I totally forgot I even backed it. Never got my backer rewards. Not sure if an issue on their end or mine (hectic years of life upheaval). Every now and then I wonder "what happened to that show?"

Netflix shows don't last more than 3 seasons unless they give them tons of money... it's not going to last long, even if they kept their animation department. It Netflix will kill it.
Yep, unfortunately there aren't any other streaming services which I know of that could've picked up the show so we'll just have to hope Netflix doesn't ruin the series even more
@@JellyFishGell honestly, I really liked it, but the lack of emotion the characters had the voice acting really bothered me, not much if a show ruiner but annoying. But the ENDING, omfg I hated it. I hated the Netflix ending so much.
I’m so sad that Bee and Puppycat had to become this way. Season two’s ending was so captivating and it was really when things started to take off. At this point like you said, I’m pessimistic about the future of bee and puppycat and I don’t think we’ll see any new episodes within the next three years, but I do continue to have hope for the continuation of this lovely series and a proper ending, as the show has already persisted through so many hurdles

exactly. it's so sad to maybe not know but suspect, that this show will never have a proper ending, especially w how little people are talking about it right now ;_; i hope next season releases on a weekly basis so it encourages people to speculate like they should've. WE COULD HAVE HAD A THEORY COMMUNITY THAT RIVALED GRAVITY FALLS W ALL THE QUESTIONS NOT ANSWERED. but instead we just have a show that arrived like a wet splatter and ends w a cliffhanger and we'll most prolly never know the continuation of

Why do people keep calling it season 2? There is no second season. I keep asking on the internet if there will ever be a second season but there's not an answer for this anywhere.
Watching the netflix version now. Finished episode 1. I love that she show is back and getting the attention it deserves. But I dont like that its basically just a watered down version of the original. I hope that changes from ep 2 and onward
as you go on it does get better and deviant from the original
I always liked the pilot better and thought the subsequent show they made should have been with the pilot. I’m super happy therefore with the first episode; it seems like they’re basically combining the pilot show with the full thank show. So hype

I think im disappointed. I was very excited for the season. It was a comfort show and still is. Absolutely slimmed down Bee and a bit of lore just confused me- so maybe they’ll cover it next season. The bit of nostalgia was just not there/ got rid of some of the stuff I genuinely enjoyed. I miss cleavage crab
I think after Hilda, Netflix really needed a show like this. There's a definite niche which Puppycat fits into which Netflex has tapped into, but it just doesn't have enough content right now to hold that niche. Especially since Hulu actually has Adventure Time, Regular Show, etc. This sort of relatable cozy content that genuinely feels almost adlibbed as they wrote the script. Netflix has had some real stinkers in its animation area. Its involvement with the Godzilla animes has probably cost it a lot, especially with the first trilogy they released. But I think this friendly miyazaki vibe with some very old school feels to it works well and I think we're going to continue to see more content like Puppycat, Hilda, and so on. As an older viewer in my late 30's, everything about these shows hits just the right spots of what I loved about old SNES games, classic Miyazaki films, etc. And the shows seem to work well with people in their 20's and younger viewers as well. The appeal is pretty much universal across all demographics almost.
I think we're going to see as much puppycat as its creators want to make, now that it's on Netflix. It's just that we'll see less animated content in general as competition picks up. But the demand for puppycat is very real, and I think it's the top contender right now for continued financing.
Late to the conversation, but a cozy somewhat ad-libbed show I really like is the midnight gospel- it was also written (i think) by pendleton ward so that’s probably why it’s so good lol. Shows that have a loose-ish plot but complex characters and BEAUTIFUL colours and art are so underrated and special.
Ive seen the Netflix adaptation of season one (I had to binge some of it otherwise Netflix would cancel it) but I have to say, if you havent seen the TH-cam original I feel like the story's pacing is so WEIRD. I have no idea how Netflix normies could wrap their had around it because it feels rushed so without prior knowledge it feels incomprehensible

fr i hate how they took away the 'juice' of the stories of the temp jobs, like the souls on the dessert planet and the creepy eyeball job thats a really important thing because its bee trying to avoid her birthday and the memories it brings, its just not right

@@JellyFishGell Literally YES, like I NEED my cleavage crab, I *need* him, they added so much kiddy humor that its almost impossible to get past, its really annoying and its like they take the good natural jokes of the OG and turn them into some mush of script thats often missing the punchline

I swear years ago I found a video explaining that they discontinued the show cause the creator was a female (one of the reasons). I don’t remember what video it was but god it’s been in my memory for years. It goes on about how being a female creator is difficult and the possibility of success was low blah blah
I didn't think about that, but I could definitely see that being a factor in it! Especially since the art style is very pastel and cutsey

@@zana6327 I’m confused as to how LGBTQIA+ is inherently woke. Maybe Transgenderism. But generally I don’t think that would count as woke unless it’s shoved in your face and the characters aren’t treated like complex people, and instead are shallow and their only defining attribute is which way they swing.

Don't get me wrong, I still think the Netfilx series was pretty good for its own right. But the only major problem I have with it was the voice acting.

idk why but i watch the netflix version in korean, and the voice acting sounds much better to me…
Everything from Gentle Touch onwards feels just fine, I don't really hear what people find odd or unfitting. The series took on a much calmer, more grounded (as grounded as you can get in a casually bizarre world like that) and more organic approach than the youtube episodes, in order to continue the story. Lazy in Space is a wonferful continuation, where the show truly reached its peak and unique potential, and I truly wish people could've enjoyed it sooner without the unnecessary additions that are the three new episodes made for Netflix this time around. The original was a sequel to the pilot up to Wedding, taking everything in those episodes into account, and leaving the rest of the series to unveil some mysteries and build upon new ones.
Watching the three first eps on Netflix after seeing Lazy in Space a couple of years ago felt... weird. I don't know why they decided to spoil so much from later in the season straight away like that. The show already had a nice buildup and new information was introduced naturally and when actually prompted. But welp, the original episodes still exist and were truly a part of the whole project up until this point, so I don't see a reason to think of them as a disjointed slice of the story.

Yeah I watched it with the Japanese audio and it sounds way better.
Literally me watching the Nerflix show and comparing it to the original was like: "What I bought off of Wish versus what I got." Really felt like the Netflix version was all over the place and lost a lot of the charm and storyline of the original. The art was amazing though.
I have told all my friends they watch the online season 1 because it haves all the original jokes and it really helps u understand how bee and puppycat relationship works. I didn't like 3 summary episodes in Netflix. But I understand it's because there are some new fans that need context ;;
Oh damn, I loved it.
If I can speak as a brand new fan who smoked every frame of this show in like a week, I love the post-pilot art style so much. The pacing and visual sharpness of the pilot felt like a holdover from Adventure Time, and the softer lines, more pastel color palette and sleep, dream-logic pacing of the main series suits it so much better. In hindsight, the Netflix-exclusive episodes are a little bit lacking in terms of energy, and a lot of good stuff got cut, but that stuff's all still online, for free. The new episodes were a necessary concession to get the show in front of more eyes. All this show needs to be successful and beloved is for people to see it. It speaks for itself, even condensed into three episodes. There is a soul and a creative vision to this series that cannot be compromised or diminished or legislated away. As a 20-something fuckup myself, Bee is the hero I needed, and she arrived at the perfect time. I'm telling everyone I know to watch this show in whatever form they can find it in, and I know it will work, because I watched it in the most scuffed order possible and I still think it's the best piece of American animation of the last 20 years. Don't give up on this show.
also as a new fan it makes me so sad to hear old fans disparage lazy in space just because its a bit different, i really liked the added context and it made me interested to go back and watch the original and pilot! also I agree that the modernized version fits better with this era of animation and some may see it watered down, I agree it was a bit too fast to follow at first, but theres a lot of added lines that bring more heart into the show eg. when moully said "thanks for being so nice to me, im not sure anything bad is going to happen to me" the whole thing feels more cohesive like the plot actually knows where its going!!!
It's enjoyable but it will never beat the original production on TH-cam. I was disappointed after the first episode the humour feels really forced idk the original just had so much more authenticity

I remember finding this series on my 3DS program thing where they showed so much of channel frederator stuff (conspiracy theories mainly) but once I found this series I fell in love, was really sad to find out that it didn’t continue at all. So I’m super super happy it’s coming back to Netflix and will be supported by a new welcoming audience, warms my heart honeslty
Same too when I was watching some stuff in the 3DS, I fell in love with the show that was made back then. At least am not the only one who saw this on the 3DS am happy lol
@@eveningstarlopez149 lol it was very memorable, after that though it was hard to find the series again. I think I found comics of it in a comic book store unless I’m tripping but I was afraid to buy it with my parents cause it was too girly for me apparently
Craziest way to watch cartoons tbh I miss that app
I think the changes they made are fine, but nothing that needed explaining got explained. The warlocks, the other characters referencing Cardamon’s mom even though they were BOTH supposed to have been asleep since before Bee was an adult, the fact that Puppycat could’ve been fixing his ship the entire time he was on Earth, the fact that Crispin and Bee lived together and yet Bee was an “old lady” to everyone but Deckard, etc. The sudden personality shift on Bee was really noticeable and awkward since she’s clearly much more mature after what happened with Moully, but everyone still acting like she’s immature.
I grew up with this show and loved it the moment I saw it. I will admit, I do like the Netflix version as well because the art blew my mind away and I’m a sucker for art. However the new episodes kinda felt a bit awkward but I guess in a good way? The awkwardness gave it a bit of charm that Bee and Puppycat could pull off. Hah I’m just happy I got to watch it again and I really hope we can see more in the future :>

Yes I agree with you. The awkwardness is alright but imo the og had a better handle in making the awkwardness seem more charming. Also, I desperately miss Cardamom's baby voice. He sounds so off in the netflix version lol

I just started watching the Netflix version after watching the TH-cam animation last year and the first thing that threw me off is that Bee's energetic and childlike personality was heavily minimized, it's still there but definitely not nearly as much which is what made Bee a unique protagonist for me, a young adult woman who likes to act carefree and energetic without caring what others think
Yo. And then making the shift that she is a creature who has been around for a long time just...there, instead of a young adult who just can't quite figure out where her place is in the world really changes the whole story

I randomly found this show a week ago after watching Bad Guys on Netflix lol. AND I LOVED IT! I loved the comedy, all the animation details, and how simple yet deep the show can be. I googled about the show after a few episodes and thought there would be a second season on Netflix. So when I finally got that the Netflix episodes were the second part I was heartbroken. i genuilly feel the story could keep going on and I am not a fan of the ending. But I also just finished the TH-cam episodes and I think both versions have a great essence even though they are different. I cannot believe how much the show (and the fans!) went through and feel very lucky that I was able to watch the whole series in a week. Nice video! Bee & Puppycat is one of my fav shows now 💜🐱
Bee and Puppycat (along with Bravest Warriors) was one of my absolute favorite underground cartoons back when it was first released. I never knew the details of the production pauses, delays, and of course the sudden switch over to VRV until watching this video. It is a shame that the show had to take this route as I agree that the window for its popularity has been somewhat missed. I am yet to watch the new episodes on Netflix but if they aren't as great as the Cartoon Hangover releases, I won't be completely surprised. Tysm for talking about a series like this. I have subscribed haha :P
I love the show so much. Yes, the Netflix one doesn't capture the same essence as the original one on TH-cam with Cartoon Hangover. But I feel like it's good enough and the story is finally coming together on the Netflix one. I just want to more seasons to come! I love the TH-cam one and the Netflix one so much.
Watching this made me emotional. This has been a long and tumultuous time for the fans. We just wanted what we paid for, then got locked out, then suckers like me got VRV and all the good stuff left the platform. It was just problem after problem, but we love Bee and Puppycat and want to see more !!! Please don’t drop them Netflix. Take care of our baby
The first three episodes feel like they're, for the most part, not supposed to count much. They feel like they were supposed to summarize the TH-cam series while retconning a few things for future continuity purposes. "Ok this, this and this still happened, but this this and this didn't. Good? Let's continue." I've personally been recommending that people watch the TH-cam series first and then the Netflix show, since that gives the best experience. All that said, I enjoyed the show! I hope there's more of Bee and Puppycat in the future, though that future looks bleak.

Nixing the crush between Deckard and Bee is the biggest change. I didn't detect so much as a hint of a crush in the Netflix series, they just seem like good friends. Which, considering that Bee has apparently known Deckard since he was a baby...good choice. It feels like they thought the implications of their lore through a little more carefully and said "wait a minute, that's weird". Though on that note, the stuff with Deckard's mechanic brother is weird for the same reason. They didn't really explain what was happening there, but I think what happened was that Bee didn't see that guy for most of his childhood since he ran away. When he got back he moved in with Bee instead of his family for awhile, and a one sided crush developed. As far as I could tell, Bee didn't seem attracted to him at all, so...idk, not sure what to make of all that.
EXACTLY honestly i get that the 1st 3 episodes dont have much heart but.. they're not really supposed to. they add a little information and retcon some old plot points! it doesnt mean that season 1 is no longer canon or anything, its still all on TH-cam!
Netflix first few episodes felt like rushing through the first season and referencing it but with no respect or time for that part ..
and the changes were all odd, rushed, or outright ruined plotlines, reveals, characters, and dynamics...
I just don't understand why they couldn't upload the already made content onto Netflix as a 'arnt you excited?' preamble to the series coming to Netflix and then the next day upload a 'season 3' or 'official season 2'..
like a streaming party before the release vibe.
It would have saved time and preserved the story and work and no one would.habr been mad it wasn't updated.
At least if you're going to rely on fans who already saw the show and not even respect the material they saw anyway and only reference it... then just don't change it to begin with. It's not worse than that, surely.
Then they could have spent time giving us a continuation for the large group who saw the leaked second season or VRV stuff and hey it's just more content for those who didn't...
It's evident how popular the show was the way that it was on TH-cam. No need to change it and rushing through it just feels insulting. Especially if those changes undercut the show or feel out of character.
Right? Like I truly don't get the decision to reboot the show.

i was shocked when i realized the entire first season was rebooted. i admit i did watch the leaked season 2, and i already planned to rewatch bee and puppycat, but a whole new first season has me excited!!
After having watched all of Lazy in Space on Netflix over the last month, I can only express my highest possible satisfaction with it. I can't believe there's 16 half hour episodes of this, and I can't believe it maintains the level of quality that it does. Lazy in Space is so, so, so good.

I've almost finished the season on netflix, and I love it so far. There's only one change that I'm seriously sad about, which is that bee doesn't say "my gu-uts my guts" in the umbrella scene. Because I used to quote that all the time back when I first watched the series on youtube, and it was one of the moments that really made me like Bee as a character. Same with the candy scene. But, overall it's still fantastic, and I can't wait to see where they take the story next!
Yeah, the ‘my guts’ scene just didn’t hit it off this time… 😭 the original scene was way funnier. I would quote it all the time too so it felt so awkward this time around lol

As someone who watched the show fully on Netflix is that 1-3 is like a recap of the episodes that already came out on TH-cam. If you already watch the episodes to go ahead skip it or watch it to keep in mind that this is a recap.
*Then it's up to the fans to make sure the Netflix premier gets its views!! Go watch it!!!* I watched ep 1 dismorning before work, and goldfish space was changed to baby space. No big deal, it showed more of Puppycat being the space prince, and how and why she was fired initially. Can't wait to show my older daughter, she was just a baby when it first aired. I also got her the Puppycat talking plushie, but she's long destroyed it. My soon to be 3 year old will love the show, no doubt. After work today, we're gonna watch it and give it our support!
I just finished watching it on Netflix and am about to play it on repeat for the next couple weeks, because I loved the even more incredible insane stuff they did with it.
I didnt really like hiw they emphasised puppycat being the space prince in the beginning as the original kinda ler it be more subtle, a detail not as clear which in my opinion made the show much more interesting. Bee being a robot was also very duvtle but the new was kinda quick to shiw it with little foreshadowing
@@eelllieeee LIS is effectively a reboot. You have to think about it like how Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood spedran the first half because the original Full Metal Alchemist went into the first half in much more depth and detail. They have to catch newcomers up and the first three episode just recap the original 10 episodes.
It works fine. Also there is still the question of what happened to the original Bee since they did show her as a child in LIS.

Abou the robot thing I feel like its more of a cyborg thing so maybe she was a full on human before but then, something happend pf her father just managed to build a creature able to grow and Bee has in fact been a robot thing all the time
@@eelllieeee They call her a young old lady because she hasn't aged in a while and they even mention she hasn't. I don't think that's the case. Either, bee was an actual person who died and they made a robot of her after or something happened and they made her a robot because of it.
I’ve loved every version of Bee and Puppycat, including the Netflix series! Pacing is different and I miss Deckard sounding out “recipe” in the Netflix one but they were all beautifully made and dreamy. I’m just happy to get more content with the original Bee voice actor ❤️
Thank you for making such a nice concise video! I just discovered Bee and Puppycat for the first time this week, and I'm so conflicted how to feel about it. On one hand I'm so sad that I didn't stumble upon it sooner, but I also missed out on a lot of waiting and heartbreak which might be a blessing in that sense. I've yet to complete the whole netflix version, but I did go back and watch the pilot and subsequent 10 episodes, and this has quickly become one of my favourite shows ever. What a hidden gem!!
Bee and puppy cat is good, lazy in space is also good, I’d say the delay is like omori, it’s good but flawed.

I did feel like the first episode of the new Netflix version was a little lacking but I felt like it jumped right back into the same laid-back feeling after 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 I just finished the Netflix version today and I'll probably rewatch it again soon 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

Honestly if second 3 comes out in the next several years or so i would not be surprised these creators are really taking their sweet time making this show.
Among the many things I missed in the remake, the main-ish one is the Second/First Artstyle.
The Colour; Although Still pastel, it uses the old colours from the old series but in a way that it feels repetitive? In my eyes I just think it's flat and they don't test the waters with other colours like the old one used to, it does'nt have that much depth to it and even at moments when the old show had simple colours it still served. The remake; not so much.
It's still an okay show, and it's probably the budget, but I think the style of the show before really ecapsulates, if that's the correct word, the show's vibe.
It was dreamy, meme-y, and just pure eye-candy. The silly expressions ranging from Puppycat's poses to Bee's ever-changing eyebrows, Dekard, Cass and their whole family's looks, and the scenes where it should've always hit the most now doesn't as much; Cardamon's Mom's room. Still is sad, but the old details really told a story.
I think I could go on, but nonetheless I still hold this show dearly, remake or continuation, it's still bee and puppycat, and their adventures are always fun!
This is the first ive ever heard of an original version on youtube. I watched the netflix show and loved it with my whole heart. Its so pretty and the mysic is so good and the characters are so endearing and i really love the kind of adventure timey-midnight gospelly-nonchalant voice acting.
i think the netflix version is awesome for someone like you with no previous knowledge of the show. i think a lot of longtime fans like myself (was introduced when only the youtube pilot was out) though feel kinda sad at what this show had become over the years and how it’s culminated into this netflix version. either way i’m glad you like any version of it as it’s genuinely one of my favorite/comfort shows :)

All the characters are exactly the same except theres now no romantic tension between bee and deckard? What elements did the old show have that the new one doesnt?

@@mibber121 I’m an og fan and I love the Netflix one 😊 sure it cut out some minor stuff from the TH-cam version but the backstory and lore is still the same. Plus, this time we get more depth of the characters and the story flows better. The animation has also improved which is a plus 😊 I hope the series continues

Found put about the series earlier this year from like two friends, and hearing about how long they’ve stuck through with it was surprising. I’ve rewatched the pilot and both seasons twice by now and am both in love with all three parts and just kinda sad at how long so many others had to wait. Hopefully the future’s brighter for everyone involved

The TH-cam episodes are definitely the better than what followed, but I won't complain about any of it. I loved the pilot and series on yt. I just kind of assumed I'd never see it again after that because nothing ever came out after. So seeing it on Netflix was a huge suprise. I watched it all in two days and I really enjoy it. I truley hope it's renewed for another season, I don't want to lose it again. Unfortunately Neflix is notorious for only having 1 or 2 seasons and then dropping shows 😕

I’ve watched this show from pretty much the very start, and tbh, I just want nothing more than this show to do well. I really really hope it can become one of those shows that’s got amazing writing and becomes super popular. It just has so so much potential and it would be tragic for it to go to waste.
I swear to god it came out on Netflix in late 2020 or 2021 in a certain region. My friend in Puerto Rico had it on her Netflix account and she was able to binge-watch Lazy in Space before they took it right back down.

I was SO hyped when I saw it was on Netflix. I begged my partner to watch it with me and we watched the first episode. The key phrases I kept repeating were "the TH-cam version is better" and "trust me it's good I swear"
Knowing this show and its constant refusal to stay gone, we'll just wait two years and then grab at all the content we can
For real tho, I've been a huge fan of the show since I was a kid, so seeing it finally come to fruition is a dream come true now that I'm 20 and Bee is even MORE reliable to me as a person
I love the show, I have had a lot of my friends watch what was available on TH-cam the last few years. With so many people discovering it now I hope it gets a resurgence and a season 3, especially with how much they set up at the end of season 2.
I honestly love the art style, and I like the voice acting sometimes. The only issue I have is that it's confusing. I didn't watch the thing on TH-cam but I haven't seen it in forever so I don't remember much. So when it was leaked that it wpuld go on Netflix I thought it would explain the story more but I was just confused mostly
i haven’t seen this mentioned a whole lot, but some fans actually were able to guess that netflix would pick up lazy in space even before they announced that it would be aired there.
in about july/august of 2020, somebody shared a screenshot of a copyright claim they’d gotten on either a clip or a reupload of one of the leaked episodes which had stated that the rights to the episode belonged to netflix. of course, since there was complete radio silence from all sides, most fans took the claim with a grain of salt, but i also wasn’t at all surprised when i saw the announcement for this reason.
(also, i totally forgot about the 3ds release. that brought up some deep memories lol)

even mean to watch it, I just misclicked and it started playing and I got gripped by the beautiful animation and vibrant colours. It was ... unbelievable cozy and comforting to watch this show. I loved it. I didn't know the long history of the show but soon I found the old episodes on youtube and I was just happy to have more content. I get that for longtime fans the netflix season might not be perfect but it still has so much character... this whole series is honestly just great ...

The netflix version was my first exposure to this show and I fell in love with it. The storyline and character development is amazing IMO. Season 2 aka Lazy in Space really fleshes out the characters and the plot more, and the ending was such a cliff hanger... I'll be soooo sad if they don't continue this show somehow. Hopefully they get enough views for Netflix or another service to want to pick up a 3rd season....

I couldn't even finish the Netflix run. Because it was a completely new show, at least it feels like it. I really couldn't get my head around why they put so much back story where it wasn't needed. And gave too much detail to things that didn't need them. I'm just sad because the original run is so beautiful in its own right! And gave hints and little tips on the back story on bee and puppycat. Now the show you Right away the back story and explain everything for even the least interested person that watches it to a full extent, and that took the whole mystery and spark from the show.
To me it was the opposite. I was soooooo confused about everything in the show. In the Netflux series, it was like they dropped mega bombs on you with out developing the plot details and just expect you to piece things together on your own. Which wouldn't be too bad if the pacing wasn't so weird. The original YT series had a better flow that made everything smooth and cohesive. Even the scripting was alot better as the dialogue was more coherent and natural. I wish the netflix version would've followed the same storytelling as its predecessor. It would've made it alot more enjoyable. At the end of the last Netflix episode I was irritated and ready to cut the TV off.

There's a website that has all the episodes in the IDEAL watching order, from the pilot up until season 2, followed immediately by the leaked episodes (i.e. episodes 4-16 of the Netflix version), which in my opinion is the ideal Bee & Puppycat as it would have been had it stayed a fully online series... But I REALLY want them to make money, so I will be watching the Netflix version in addition over and over for sure!!

I watched the show when it first started and stayed along for all of its mishappes and even saw it on Netflix for like a day or two where I got to watch one episode before it was taken off and I ended up watching it on someone's google drive much later because kiss cartoon and everything were also having problems. I'm very excited for the new series to say the least.
I've been so obsessed with bee & puppycat since it first came out on TH-cam but I gotta say I was kinda disappointed with the Netflix series :( I noticed the music, sound effects, and voice acting in my opinion weren't up to par with what it was on TH-cam. I'm hopeful for the next season as I still love the story. but it was quiet the disappointment in the VA directing and sound regard, especially after such a long wait.
The only Kickstart I've ever backed and gave $100 just so I could get a t-shirt :3 have my season 1 DVD around somewhere. I'm just glad to see where it's at now after these years on netflix

I finished watching all of the episodes the next day after it came to Netflix, all I have to say is I'd rate it a 7/10, I love the extended story and lore, but everything was so obvious I stopped gasping, alot of things still doesn't make any sense, and the voice acting makes me uncomfortable, especially since bee used to be lively, but now she sounds just as robotic as she truly is, I can't believe this is the same show I watched when I was 12 on my Nintendo DS 😭😭😭😭
I love Bee and Puppycat even the Lazy in Space episodes. They bring me so much joy, much like Steven Universe. I want to continue watching puppycat bc I believe Natasha deserves her creative work to be shown. She inspires me ❤
I remember watching puppycat at VRV and loved it and was sad that they didn’t continue it. But I noticed they did that to a lot of the animations. So when it came out in Netflix I was so happy. I got my son and we started watching it. He loves it! He is a huge fan of Adventure Time and Steven Universe.
I read Bee and Puppycat, and honestly, I love the Netflix version.

As someone who didn’t experience the yt version, I really enjoyed the casualness of the Netflix show. I liked what they did with the lore as well
I was one of the lucky few to see the leak of what i consider season two of B&PC, and are episodes 4-12 in the Netflix series. After falling in love and following the series since I saw the pilot months after it was posted, the re-animation and changes they had were thoroughly disappointing.
The writing felt vastly different, and I noticed so many cut corners. You can notice the difference between ep. 3 & 4, the writing, voice acting, animation, and story telling is VASTLY apparent.
If you want a good sense experience of the show, i suggest watching the full 10 episode series on TH-cam then continuing with four and onward. That is all my opinion tho, I think netflix might have deterred viewers greatly as i don’t think i would have watched past episode 1 if i was a new viewers. The animation is full of still frames, puppycats voice doesn’t match or line up with his phrases at all, and there are tons of bongus continuity issues.

The best way I describe the Netflix show is that it's a sort of..."To Be Continued" Brotherhood version of the show. It rushes through the stuff they've already covered (in the 10 episodes you can watch for free) to get to the new material. It still adds some neat little world building pieces in those rushed through areas, but it definitely still feels like an abridged version of those first ten episodes. Once it's gone through those, however, it settles back in it's original pacing and tone, and it's quite nice.
However, now it's making me want another season because there's STILL more plot elements that need resolving, and I'm sad we may never get that.

I remember when the vrv thing happened and I just didn’t keep up with Bravest warriors and Bee and Puppy cat anymore. I was 14 so I couldn’t afford it 🤷♀️ but at least now I can finally watch everything :)
