Finally found someone that explain how hazy photo works and did it good,I was looking for those tips for a while cause this kind of photography are not popular in china, really really helps me a lot.
Just opened a bag of old filters, got it from my teacher a while ago. Found out there are 16 (!) amazing filters that fit my fujifilm x100v! Lot of filters that you showed. 😀 can't wait to start shooting portraits with them. Your portraits look stunning. Thanks for sharing!
For the stuck together filters, you can try a black tape, not the duct tapes but smaller ones about 1.5cm wide? And just stick to the frame of one side of the filter while the other filter is free from it and just unwind in opposite direction. I did this to free my step up rings that got stuck overtime and they were so thin it was difficult to even use grip or fingers to unwind it
With those stuck filters - try putting them on a warm radiator/heater. Just a gentle heat and it doesnt take long. I had one on my lens for mo this because it wouldn't come off and this worked for me. I bought some filters yesterday and look forward to trying them out. Thanks for your video.
A couple of comments, If you are attaching filters be careful of cross threading, they will get "Stuck" if no ability to rotate just dont tighten it all the way, you can still rotate it that way! I had something called a "Phoz Pro" which got stolen and is no longer available, I just got a kaleidoscope filter which is nice! I can't put a picture here but I made a nice Valentine card with it!
Found your IG about 2 months ago and loved your work from the start (its been two years i'm into analog photography and I haven't found my style yet, but i've always loved working with led lights and gel colors so your work caught my attention right away as it felt very close to what i wanna do myself).. When we scroll to your oldest IG posts (sorry been a stalker on this one), it"s impressive to see how much you have progressed in a few months. It motivated me to do more shootings as the only secret to progress is work.. Then I found your TH-cam channel and its awesome to "discover" the person behind the camera, as you seem like such a sweet and down to earth person. Gotta admit I first thought you were shooting analog photography and was always questioning myself "damn how does he do that?" so i was mad happy to see that you're sharing all of your photography secrets with us hehe Thank you for your friendliness and generosity Really enjoying this channel

I took my stuck filters to a camera shop and he got them disconnected in about 30 seconds. No idea how he did it as I tried EVERYTHING. Hope that helps, love your work. And you’ve only been doing photography for a year?!?! Wow! Amazing work!
this video was full of creative /usefull infos thank you ^^ but i have a question is there any lightroom preset or else who can approach this kind of lens work thanks again for all your work ^^
Great video! I really love your channel it's so helpful and inspiring!! I was wondering if you possibly know what happens if you stack two black pro-mists on top of each other? Tried to google it but couldn't really find any information.. does it double the effect of the diffusion? I have a black promist 1/4 and was thinking about buying a stronger one as well, like a 1/2, and I wonder if stacking them would give a stronger effect so i don't have to buy a pro-mist 1. Have you tried stacking them? Appreciate your channel! Looking forward to your next video! :)
So I have a nikon 35 mm, an olympus 45mm, and possibly soon a 75mm. I mainly shoot portraits. Would these step up ring work on my lens with the prsim 77 mm filters?
Hello, u'r video has been very useful... anyway I would like to shot some oniric/surrealistic photos for a University project; witch filter would u Raccomandati me to buy and use? Thanks, Kinzica
Damn....Bulker & Cutter!! Look Great Sir!! I broke my lower back. 8 cages, 8 rods, 5 vertebrae bla bla bla. I lost allllll my gains. I could had competed in juniors. Anyways, that incident was what led me to photography. Great Vid Sir !!

If it moves but it shouldn’t: duct tape. If it doesn’t move but it should: WD-40. Lying, not laying. Those lens filters do not appear to be chickens. 😉

Dude, I appreciate the filters, but... You're an ABSOLUTE UNIT.

Tip for getting them apart, use an elastic band on one to grip and twist as usual.
I’ll give that a try!
I agree with you on the linear prism and kaleidoscope filter I was going to pick them up but figured it’s a waste of money
really dope filters but I just don't use them enough to justify spending the money on them haha
Put one rubber jar lid remover on each side and twist in oppwsit direction and that should get the filters apart. It has always worked for me.
Just found your channel. Thank you for this video, I want to buy all of them now.
I've been following you on twitter for a while and I've only just discovered your TH-cam channel. Awesome stuff man!
You can unstuck filters with latex coated work gloves. Easy
You’re a life saver

lol , I was actually inspired by you and searched for filter videos on youtube and I found YOU , how convenient :p
What's the swol filter you have on the camera you're filming with?
Great video Waldo! I've been contemplating the PrismFX brand.
It's a great brand! Definitely recommend
When you stack dream with star filters which one you mount on top of the other? I mean, which is the order? Thank you!!!
I'll be making a video about this actually haha stay tuned :)

I have my own set of presets that pair very well with it!
What lenses did you use on the pictures used to showcase the Dream FX filter? Really curious. Great work btw!

I agree. Good question
lmao I'll post a video detailing my gainz soon
You can buy plastic filter like wrench thing from Amazon or Ebay saved me many a time
Awesome vid!

I can use this lenses on my 85mm 1.4?
Can a 77mm lens filter fit on a 24-105mm lens?
It depends on the thread size, the lens should say what the thread size is on the front
What would give a more dream look. A black pro mist filter 1 or a dream fix filter
either a strong black promist like the 1/2 or the dreamFX filter. The 1/4 is pretty dreamy too but usually only blooms in the highlights
Yeah, just use a toothpick with Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant to coat the threads and you'll never have trouble getting them apart again.
I have never thought of this omg thank you so much!!!

Funny - your stuck lens - go to any nail shop they have UV drying equipment - UV rays should work

Igual yo 😔
try wrapping a rubber band around your filter then try to remove it. if you havent tried that yet. nice vid.
You should be specific when talking about multiple filters. "This one," "That one," "The other two," super confusing.
Yeah, it’s frustrating.
@@randy25rhoadshe literally says the name and holds up said filter, maybe learn to watch a video 🤷🏽♂️
If it moves but it shouldn’t: duct tape. If it doesn’t move but it should: WD-40.
Lying, not laying. Those lens filters do not appear to be chickens. 😉
Put the first filter in the freezer for 5 min. Then you will be able to unscrew them.
Your cross screen filter is made by WHO
Yay I can put filters and leave them on my expensive several thousand dollar lens to make it look blurry like a $50 lens , genius
Imagine thinking sharpness makes a photo good LOL
@@MoodyDarkRoom xD
Use rubber bands
Has huge muscles but cant get two filters unscrewed. LOL
Cross threaded maybe!
