yes I have and the olympus 5 was one I have and love love it I hike walk trail run run in them. I highly recommend that you like max cushioning hug foot feel with space to splay olympus 5 is where it's at..
I've emailed them at some point about giving an upgraded versions of some of their shoes with the Ego Pro midsole just to separate the normal shoes for running and having other models fall under a "premium" category. I mean if the Lone Peak gets premium Ego Pro midsole with the current Lone Peak 8, that would be very much "take my money" scenario! Although I think Altra poured in all the tech with Mont Blanc Carbon and Vanish Carbon 2. Pretty much premium with those two! And I'll be really tempted to get both of them if it was not for the price. Too bad Altra does not have a kind of loyalty perks with its consumers. 😅 Nice video though! 💪👍 Persuaded again to buy an 8 despite having a brand new condition Lone Peak 5 still with me. 😅
@@AubreyRunning sorry bro. I have not seen reviews about them from reliable testers of Altra. However, I’m also on the look out for those. Altra said that the latest Timp will have the most changes is every aspect! So yeah, I think my bank accounts going nuts because Altra has a very very “juicy” start of 2024. Indeed a year of innovation. Also, I’m really got my eyes with the Vanish Carbon 2. Just got using my Vanish Carbon after a year of hesitation and it was fantastic! I hope the Vanish Carbon 2’s outsole got buffed out in terms of durability. 😁
If the Lone Peak had a higher stack it would be a completely different shoe...it seems to be why people love the Lone Peak, because it' s more minimal... speaking for myself at least. I just wish they'd do a version with Vibram Megagrip! To me that would be the ultimate. Thanks...
Aubrey I'd recommend getting the Olympus 5 or New 6 from Altra. I like the Lone Peak, but I like more stack and cushion offered there I'm max stack biased also..lol
Where exactly can you buy altra . Amazon says normally dispatched within 3 to 6 months. Im not waiting that long. Can you imagine by the time they arrive you wouldn't even remember ordering them . Large sizes barley exsist there seems to be about 4 uk size 12s in the world or something.

you can see the difference for sure but it’s because of the filming profiles. I stupidly filmed on angle in log and the other in another profile.
