@@joedlvr I will be doing RS streams on weekends (on twitch). I was only streaming RS so much because I was contracted by kick to do so, but I didn't renew so I could focus more on speedrunning :) Whenever there are big pvp events like DMM or any wilderness updates I'll be streaming RS for sure.

I remember my copy of this ended up scratched and opening doors in the school tended to make it crash so i ended up having to wait around for people to open the door

@@kadesitton5762fucking stupid because not all scratched copies would react the same and it requires original hardware and damaging it to do. Next time you have a thought, let it go.
@@Someguyonline7732 and plus the guy never said anything about it being the exact same when a different disc gets scratched he said it should call it scratch percent. It would be quite interesting to see how a scratched disc would it affect the game for speed running.

I have this version on the wii and i think i experienced a glitch when you're trying to save Johnny from that 'Asylm' place, the officer guy at the door is meant to move their head left and right but in my copy it doesn't happen😅

Honestly in my top 5 favorite games of all time, a hidden gem, its soundtrack was crafted with so much passion, as well as the story, each and every NPC has a name and a backstory and interactions and sometimes favors, it's such a perfectly crafted project (without the bugs and straight up unplayable pc port ((without modding))) great video!

I completely forgot to comment on this video, but great video, explains the run very well, and was honestly very good. Bully Speedrunning has come a very long way within just the past year, so we are very lucky to have you show off the game at this time in Bully history. Seeing after only 3 days and we got 1.6K likes already, i think it’s safe to assume it’s only a matter of time before the 5k comes. When it does come, you get that damn sub 2:20 and you don’t let any ped take that away from you!

the safefile is interesting.
usually what speedrun rules are, is that you have to create those glitch enabling safefiles yourself.
skyrim for example uses the first few minutes to find a horse to create a safefile for horse flying.
and only if its like waiting time or something that can be skipped are used safefiles welcomed.
The rules used to be that we made the save file after the third mission of the run (The Setup) But new mods decided it would be better if it was allowed to be premade to make the run as fast as possible.
I bought the game on pc 2 nights ago, and I think this might be the first game I try speed running. Love this game sm
30+ hours to get past chapter 4 on a good pace? Man you really go all out for these videos, great watch as always!
30 hours just to get a run past that point at all, because that is about 20-30% consistent, as the nerds have near perfect aim.
And here i thought i was being fast by always attacking prefects to send me to class instead of walking physically.

Idk if anyone is still watching but. To anyone who plays bully AE. (like myself too yes) You can do the Skateboard speed boost bug. But you don't use the flick and digital. Use the Analog.

How’s it hard to recommend? The scholarship edition (the version from the video) is named Bully in UK.
Only the PS2 version has the name change.

Because the game was considered offensive, because the ratings board didn’t bother to check and thought it was about bullying kids, and thought others would think that too. So it was changed to Canis Canem Edit (dog eat dog) Basically survival of the fittest.

not really seeing what's "busted" here: no major skips / out of bounds / cool movement tech (i guess maybe the skateboarding?). this really just looked like someone being pretty quick at a normal playthrough and isn't really busted. and needing to acquire a community save file? pretty weak video with a click bait title
you dont even know what you are talking about lol, go try the run before talking shit
look. ima have to agree with p0dino, because you’re just simply wrong. I don’t know what you’re talking about when you say there is no major skips, as literally almost every single mission has atleast one skip, and we literally skip an entire mission during chapter 1! Out of bounds glitches happens within the first minute of chapter 3, which brings me to the cool movement tech argument, which you literally contradicted yourself because the skateboard is one of the most fascinating pieces of movement tech in this game, along with the fact we do warps and sometimes wrong warps across the entire run. You also claim that you ‘need’ a community save, which is completely bogus, you can make your own, showing you have 0 knowledge of this game and there literally exists seperate categories which is where reloading saves is banned. The title is only clickbait if you’re just a fucking idiot! Do some research and watch the video for more than 3 minutes before calling it clickbait.
Maybe in the future there will be more fast/glitches that'll help speed through the game but also sometimes games just don't have those types of glitches or it breaks the game too hard
BULLY SPEEDRUNS ARE INSANE
That just shows you not only never have played the game, you also have no eyes, because you can clearly see the amount of jank and luck fighting spaghetti code. Bully is goated- but not because it was perfect top to bottom.
Play ps2 version its superior
Speed runs are getting really dumb imo. So many weird modifications and save files you have to download and abuse.
It’s not mandatory, you can obviously tell it’s possible to do on your own, and saves used to be made during the run. There is an optional save file for lazy asses and one patch to fix crashing, and another that fixes a glitch that can literally cause damage to your sound card.

you do NOT need someone else's file, it takes only 10 MINUTES to make your own
taking the community save file only makes it quicker if your lazy ass dont want to play 10 minutes
