You two are absolutely amazing. You are REAL and GENUINE! Nothing fake or unrealistic about your adventures. You have and continue to provide for me a great deal of entertainment and value as I plan my future travels out west. It's just so refreshing to watch two people enjoying their travels together and sharing their likes and dislikes along the way. Never second guess or question the videos you post. There are plenty of us "ordinary" folks that appreciate what you put out there. It's great content! I'm a fan and will follow along as long as you guys share!
I beg to disagree, the camera captured striking scenery and vivid colours, especially the leaves and contrasting sky. Brings back memories from my trip there 40 years ago. 🌵
Thanks! Didn't know you could drive down to the bottom. Fighting Ovarian cancer for 6 years and visiting next month you just add something nice to our trip.
We love your videos! We are in our 70's so can't travel anymore due to walking issues, but watch your videos everyday on TH-cam on our 65 inch Samsung. Love every minute, but can't make comments on the TV. We have traveled out west a couple of times and have a long time friend in Cody, WY. Our kids just bought a 5th wheel camper and plan for us to use it on our ranch this winter with campfires and deer all around. We live in Central FL so if you are every down this way look us up. PS....This canyon is just beautiful.
Came here from the main channel months ago. Absolutely love it. You show a side of the US not many from outside the US often see. The last time I saw so much of what I consider real America was a professional show Steven Fry In America, It's good to see more. Thanks A&A
I appreciate you sharing your vacation with us. I've enjoyed all of your videos of this trip. My wife and I are taking special note of where you go and the attractions along the way. By this time next year we hope to have an RV and head out to make our own memories.
Once again...fantastic video! We just can't get enough! So many memories! Not sure what we will do once you are back home! LOL! My late husband has a little memorial down in the canyon by a tree...my step-son made it...it's a special place. Thankyou again for sharing Abby and Adom!
Very Nice and Amazing.Would love to see this in person. Just stumbled upon your videos.Glad to watch them. And you both seem like down to earth and real people.(Not Many these days)
Great video! We have stayed at the Gunnison KOA several times, but we haven’t ever been here. We love Colorado, so we will definitely have to visit this place the next time we are there.
Check! Wondering where you're headed next. Grand Junction to Rangely to Dinosaur (very cool park!), Browns Park, through Craig to Steamboat, most beautiful area in Colorado this time of year (my biased opinion). It's fun following along, as every inch is home to me. Wave when you go through Delta that's all messed up from construction right now (detour isn't bad) :)
Abby's parent will be coming up this week and we all plan to ride up to Steamboat one day for a visit. So many great places but not enough time for them all.
@@AbomAdventures Enjoy, Lips and Links (chicken and sausage sammich) at the Double Z yum. Steamboat Lake, worth the 20 mile drive. Ride up the Gondola. Colors will be amazing on Buffalo Pass. Hot Springs. So much to do.
I've been their through the south entrance but it is mutch different showing the deep part of the canyon - like grand canyon - I missed this different perspective because I was on a time line.😊
Beautiful spot! I'm beginning to like Colorado more and more. I totally agree with you with the jerks riding your bumper. Why are you even here if you cant slow down and enjoy the beauty of the mountains.
@@AbomAdventures South rim is open but East Portal road is closed all the way from the south entrance till the dam so basically south rim entrance and south rim road are open and all the lookout's everything is open just can't drive down to the river and dam because east Portal road is closed. 🚧 Otherwise was still fun day and especially the last overlook is a bit of a hike but well worth it .. got to see full panorama view of all sorts of mountains and canyons and greenery and my favorite part of the park was sunset point at sunset .
Awesome, awesome location. just love the sound of the water. kinda curious, does anyone swim there during the summers and do you know what the line of buoys were for? As for people tailgating, I had a cop do that to me one time as I was coming onto a bridge, so I slowed right down to 20km/h across the bridge. He was actually laughing cause i did that plus it looked like he had wanted to read my bumper stickers :D
Closer up towards the big dam, not the weir, there is a subsurface tunnel hand drilled to the other side of the canyon wall. The area between the buoys is marked no swimming as I suspect they don't want anybody sucked into the subsurface irrigation tunnel. Absolutely beautiful area and worth a trip.
reminds me of my father in law. my mother and I want to go fishing in a mountain lake.. he is the only one that will drive .. and he goes a bit fast. laughing. I say look man Ill never do this again if you dont slow down. this was 13 years ago. since then he has blown 2 motors and three transmissions. some people just lose their minds on twisty roads. they know I am not going to buy them another car or transmission.. I did buy them an engine hoist and some jackstands though. Seems like he can turn around an engine rebuild on their subaru outback in 3 weeks these days.
When someone feels the NEED to drive up on my tail, I remove my foot from the gas and allow my vehicle to slow down. This will drive the tailgater crazy . :)
I did that to a lady on Hwy 9 yesterday. Speed limit is 50. I was doing 53, traffic all around. Lady behind me was so close I could only see her windshield and she was riding the line wondering why I wasn’t going faster. I let off the gas and she went unglued 🤣
Used to be a billboard sized sign near Aspen and good thing for it's size because otherwise there isn't time to read it all. "This is some of God's most beautiful county, why are you driving thru it like a bat out of Hell?"
I ride Urals, on the same type of roads, and have the same problem, folks in a hurry. Why in the world would you be in a hurry on this road? Can't see anything that way!
When people tailgate me in a park, I purposely do the speed limit (usually 25) just to annoy them even more. I’m here to enjoy the place, not hurry up and park because the guy behind me is in a rush!
I never understand why ppl come to places like this to drive fast. I always have someone on my bumper. Im trying to see everything and soak everything in and ppl wanna play nascar
it's totally fine to drive slow, but use turn offs and let other people pass. last month at sequoia we follow that guy doing 10-15 mph in a 25 mph zone...refused to use let people pass, at least 12+ vehicle behind....selfish at its best.
When you go to Yellowstone NP you'll find that the worst drivers are from... Colorado ... Just saying. Note my family lives in Colorado and I'm moving there in 2022 so hopefull we'll improve the quality of Colorado driving in some small way.

True!
What is not to like. Fantastic scenery every where to take in. The problem is leaving it behind. Thanks again for inviting us along.

Thank you! It's about as good as it gets without actually being there. I appreciate the positive comments.
I used to go down there with my dad a lot. He would do some fly fishing, and i would watch the otters play.
I'm glad to see you two are having a lot of fun and you're a great couple make the videos very easy to watch.

I think you could spend a month in Colorado and not see everything. It can be a very humbling place.
Way too many great places to see in just a month. You have to consider all of the cool mountain roads and passes there are to visit as well.
Learn to fly fish - the canyon is an outstanding brown trout fishery.
