We built ours on skids so they can be easily moved. Also, rather than flimsy chicken wire, 1” X 2” heavy wire screening. Covered with strongbarn. Will last 50 years.
So far, it has worked well with only one incident. A raccoon reached in and pulled one out through the wire one night. Have since added extra perches and laying boxes. A smaller wire around the bottom should prevent that from happening again. Good luck with your goslings.

That's been a minute, but I believe it was a little under 250 on materials. I'm sure it will be a little more now with the price changes.
