Man that second verse 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥he said it all. My opinion, it's like he related to every villain, loves the fact he is like them but hates the fact that he likes it. The music to me sounds like an innocent pain that turned to hate. The vocals are the innocents but the bass makes me feel like he going on the dark journey and it feels like for the first time. Not like he is battling the villains but that eternal battle within himself. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I can talk about this one all day
WHAT IT DO DAAAAAVE?!?!? I LOVED this sont, my favorite batman song so far. The emotion, the bars, the low tone beat and the chorus my God I was literally in another world listening to this. Can't wait to see your reaction
Adding on to what you said about Batman as a cautionary tale, there's a TH-cam channel called Cinema Therapy that talked about Batman and the mental health issues he is dealing with. It was Christian Bale's Batman, but I think it still fits. Forgot what exactly the therapist on Cinema Therapy diagnosed Bale's Batman with, but it fits really well with what you were saying about his actions as Batman actually stopped him from going through the stages of grief. Great channel, I'd recommend checking them out.
I love your commentary on production. I find that to be very true because DPS's production on this track was astronomical it was so big and grand with all that he had for it. It's by far one of the most fitting beats for this type of song that I've heard. And now it's just my favorite beat period. From the hook to the versus i noticed so many little details that really made this track amazing! When the beat crashes in after the transition or when it pushes in from a pulled back part gives this song so much life
I feel like for a moment you forgot you were reacting and almost let the whole song play out without saying a word, and that is the mark of a successful song
Dave your voice is calming, I can see you doing voice overs (if you are not doing so already! I am a new viewer dont mind me) and have your voice become iconic! You got a sub from me sir! I will be watching all of your reactions now! Hope you day is great!
Could you imagine a collab with McGuire and GoldenEMP in this kind of Blues/sorrowful power??? it'd be insaaaaane
You never know, it is possible since McGwire is always featuring different people on his songs. I am hoping it happens tho.
same that would be awesome to hear
Ugh I love this one. The dynamic and the psychology behind this track is fuckin' nutty.

That was a Crazy Song I’ve Ever Heard and Even Batman is Still a Badass and I Do Like Him

You are correct. A few times that’s happened. Truly marvelous work here.
Another way of putting the " the lack of something" could be more defined as "his creative choices" which I can agree with you.

NICE analysis, that's all that needs to be said. Hits home mate.
This is still so 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
GoldenEMP came in and 'knocked the lights out' so DPS could bring in the 'dark'.
Personally choose to believe it has a churchy vibe cuz Batman rockin' with us now 😂
Damn Dave what's up with that bass in your voice in the beginning made my headphones vibrate 🤣🤣🤣
Dps just went crazy on this song
Ay, first time I got here in the first 15 minutes, but I LOVED this song! Such a great vibe, and such great soul!
Loved the reaction, everything you explained, I felt it and experienced it.
Gotham City is Jersey. Every license plate in Batman the Animated Series is a jersey plate
Different
Dig two Graves if you seek revenge.
I feel you I could picture church with black robed choir. Church of the dark knight
SEVEN ELEVEN DESSNUTS DAVE

They modeled Gotham after New York
It feels sculpted.
