The summer of Tessa Dare was a hilifgt of the year. The Wolf and the Wildflower was one of my favorite reads of the year. Mimi Matthews was a new favorite author for me this year and I have been loving the audios.

Minerva Spencer is awesome and I have read all of her works. She writes her spicier novels under the name S.M. LaViolette. I have only read a few of them and they are also excellently written, but much much steamier!

I think I’m going to have at least 6 historical romances in my top reads of the year. Marrying Winterborne -Kleypas is my #1. I sometimes feel like Helen and Rhys were written specifically for my tastes.
That's fantastic! Now of course I need to know your other five! 😍 I listened to Marrying Winterborne (twice), and the thing I remember the most is Rhys, in his Welsh accent, saying, "OH HELEN." 😆
So many fantastic historical romances! If you haven't already read them, Alexandra Vasti has a few novellas coming out in 2024 that are fantastic (I read them when they were available via her newsletter) as well as her debut novel. I'd also recommend Forever Your Rogue by Erin Langston, It Had to be a Duke by Vivienne Lorret, Knockout by Sarah Maclean, and all Felicity Niven's books. :)
