You have a lot on your plate and I think you are doing great. :) It is hard to give up that illusion of control...good intentions and baby steps. I can't believe how big Musa is getting, Mashallah I remember when he was born. Making dua for your family that Allah SWT will untie these knots and you'll be together again soon. ❤

Salaam alikum sis. Do your children have 3 citizenships? Since they get US citizenship by being born to you.

Waleykoum salaam! We haven’t got around to sorting their US citizenship yet but yes they will get it, and British. They’re just resident of Morocco, so only UK citizens at the moment!

Sister I love what you do overall, and I just wanted to say that I'm here from Casablanca offering you my sincere genuine service if you need help with anything or if you're having any kind of problems for the time that you are stranded here or if you can't use my help as a male I can tell my sister to contact you as she is also very knowledgeable with the law and papers and what not and she has connaissances, the point is you are not alone so don't worry at all, Allah almosta'an.

Also, don't be too hard on yourself
God doesn't ask you to be perfect or as good or as bad as other people. Just try most of the time, not all the time to be good
    God is cool and nice

Muhammads cousin explains Q65:4 - Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(And for such of your women as despair of menstruation) because of old age, (if ye doubt) about their waiting period, (their period (of waiting) shall be three months) upon which another man asked: “O Messenger of Allah! What about the waiting period of those who do not have menstruation because they are too young?” (along with those who have it not) because of their young age, their waiting period is three months.

Wait a minute, isn't this just a sign that Maghreb/Morocco land loves you and wants you to stay ?!
Anyway, this kind of pathetic bureaucracy is inacceptable..and must change ..
    Stay safe and blessed 👍

@@karsbreanne In fact I understood that (was partly a joke), who knows ! perhaps your are avoiding a bigger problem, and postponing the family visit would be far better/safe ..

you need to move to a big city like RABAT or CASABLANCA

It is also a byproduct of age. I had controlling behavior and anxiety most of my life. Islam, and getting older has almost brought it to normal levels. What is age? Exposure. Time. Lessons repeated.
When I first reverted, I struggled with surrender (again, control freak). It has gotten so much better. Now, I don't have to stress out. Stress out so much. :)

Bureaucracy must not be in a so called Muslim country , it's strange ,but that shows that rulere are far away from islamic policy ,and are no more than puppets in facade ,and the real rulers are outside

    Salam alaykum,
It's sad that pathetic 'bureaucracy' could cause such problems ..
InchAllah with better 'preparation' you will be abe to avoid such issues ..
Anyway, being healthy and safe you and beloved kids/family and performing regular prayer/suupplications ..worths the world.
Morocco/Maghreb is your land/home too (despite all 'official' bureaucracy/corruption) ..
Keep up and stay blessed 👍🌻

Learn a few words from the dialect to communicate and people may not try to scam you if you show that you live there and that you are not a tourist.

    1. Accept your situation as it is
    2. Note that God never makes us victims of anyone or anything, so whatever you're dealing with is the result of your actions and inactions and all can be turned around.
    3. Surrendering is islam, and it is a moment by moment phenomenon that we create in ourselves.

Well, sist. You have smartphone. Then use it.
You know there is even voice translator already, right?
Living in modern era is the easiest.
Submit yourself but, "dont forget to tie your camel" as said.
Oh, from my experience. When my laptop couldnt connect to internet (even tho it connected to the wifi of the phone).
My solution is changing the DNS address on my laptop manually (go ahead search the "how to" part if you will).
