I cry everytime I see her olympic floor routine... because although I'm not Chinese, I can feel the pride her country feels for her. To this day, she is my favorite Gymnast in History above Nadia Comanici and Mary Lou Reton.

She was for sure the strongest gymnast mentally and physically they are always known for bars and beam but she was amazing on floor and vault she bought the beauty they bring to beam to floor.. get floor when she was younger was light and airy like a butterfly in Bejini it was powerful, a beautiful dance that celebrated their culture and rich history..

gymnastic is such a difficult sport, which you have to give up your childhood, your only childhood memory is in the training room. My parents thought of training me as a gymnast, i never went, but i did some kongfu, which hurts terribly when you stretch, you literally put your face on your leg, and hold that position for couple of minutes
Because her vaults has higher values and scoring points to begin with. That’s why if you do the bigger vault, there are more chances that you can mess up, but higher reward.
Ummm please explain to me why??? She's a 6 time world champion, she won gold on vault 3 times IN A ROW!!! she's considered one of the most successful chinese gymnasts, she has achieved so much, an average gymnast would spend a decade or maybe even more to achieve what Cheng had achieved.
Well, let's hope! The end simply means that she is continuing in gymnastics...towards what specific events, I don't know. She has already gone on to win numerous World Cup events since Beijing!

In 2008 Olympics she fell to her knees on her own signature vault yet she managed a Bronze medal I still don't understand that one.
She was very good technically except for that fall.
Like McKayla Maroney fell but still got silver. Cheng Fei has always had gorgeous air form. She deserves every medal she got
