A dream realised indeed, beast of an engine. Very glad to see it in traffic. Marvellous film, hope you enjoyed the historic experience. Cheers and keep up the great work - Alex.
6880 and 2999 are fantastic rebuilds...full credit to the builders....BUT why oh why do they spoil all their hard work with extremely poor replica nameplates??
The nameplates on 2999 and 6880 are the wrong dimensions to the original Swindon design....which to some are unsightly. 95% of all preserved locos running today have replica names and numbers, which is understandable due to the value of the originals. Most will not notice the error, but to some it stands out like a sore thumb!!
I Certainly Enjoyed this Video, The Steam Engines are working Hard.👍
Saw 9351 at the WSR a day before this gala, good to see it’s getting out there a bit. Lovely to see the grange working, and lady of legend alike too.

Nice video :)
cool stunning train
Stunning scenery and a great collection of locos (especially 9351 my fave!)
It's a nice looking loco, particularly with the low sided tender, which has been borrowed from a Manor I think?
Correct, Foxcote 7822. I think
What did you make your watermark with in the top left hand corner?

Can’t say I’d noticed… in what way are they poor replicas?
Perhaps 6880 can masquerade as various Granges using real plates?!
@@mrbaker7443 6848 "Toddington Grange." Oh yes!
