I'm not going to lie, you know how you go to church as a kid and see all those people "praising god" and think.. you could never feel that way.. well this song did it.. it moved me so much I felt the spirit of my goddess every time I hear this song.. it's like a church song for the wiccans and pagans.. it's like you feels this tingling throughout your whole body.. At first, I wasn't completely sold on this album. I still enjoyed it (as I do literally everything by ITM), but it didn't hit me quite as hard as Ritual. However, on my 2nd through to my (currently 5th) listen I can say I'm utterly obsessed! It’s almost 4:20am where I am. I bought this record yesterday morning… ish. I listened through it once as soon as I had it downloaded. Sometime in the night my phone started playing the album whilst I slept. I became aware of Maria Brink singing this song (mother) in my… dream?… as a Pentecostal becomes aware of the Holy Spirit as they pray, or a catholic becomes aware of a vision of Mary. I came to fully at 2:15, fully aware that my phone had started this album on its own, hoping Maria Brink isn’t one of those people who starts the witching hour at two thirty, (I don’t) and was somewhere around holy man, wondering as I had when I went to church, weather god had visited my dreams, only about Maria Brink… I note this, because I don’t usually have dreams, and I’m not sure what I was in could be classified as a dream state, or even a whole dream. Anyway, thank you, good lookin out… god? Like, they have the song god is she, but being in a situation where I probably wouldn’t have the chance to see a concert, much less ask Maria Brink if she considers herself god, gods, or some other expression of deity, I doubt I can actually be aware of any of her physical or spiritual manifestation… really, I’m just kinda stoked that I have a Maria brink ghost/Buddha apparition situation… story… if I even tell anybody, I’ll probably just smoke a bowl and go back to sleep… don’t remember shit when I wake up… again.

At first, I wasn't completely sold on this album. I still enjoyed it (as I do literally everything by ITM), but it didn't hit me quite as hard as Ritual. However, on my 2nd through to my (currently 5th) listen I can say I'm utterly obsessed! The powerful lyrics, the passion, the awesome instruments and of course, Maria's unbelievably haunting voice... just, ugh

It’s almost 4:20am where I am. I bought this record yesterday morning… ish. I listened through it once as soon as I had it downloaded. Sometime in the night my phone started playing the album whilst I slept. I became aware of Maria Brink singing this song (mother) in my… dream?… as a Pentecostal becomes aware of the Holy Spirit as they pray, or a catholic becomes aware of a vision of Mary. I came to fully at 2:15, fully aware that my phone had started this album on its own, hoping Maria Brink isn’t one of those people who starts the witching hour at two thirty, (I don’t) and was somewhere around holy man, wondering as I had when I went to church, weather god had visited my dreams, only about Maria Brink… I note this, because I don’t usually have dreams, and I’m not sure what I was in could be classified as a dream state, or even a whole dream. Anyway, thank you, good lookin out… god? Like, they have the song god is she, but being in a situation where I probably wouldn’t have the chance to see a concert, much less ask Maria Brink if she considers herself god, gods, or some other expression of deity, I doubt I can actually be aware of any of her physical or spiritual manifestation… really, I’m just kinda stoked that I have a Maria brink ghost/Buddha apparition situation… story… if I even tell anybody, I’ll probably just smoke a bowl and go back to sleep… don’t remember shit when I wake up… again.

I have so much family that I've let down, not intentionally, but I did. This hits home because of family that kills me that I've more than likely lost. I will always blame myself for that, but this one is good shit.

I like the idea but I don't think it would succeed successfully. Ok so like most of slipknots successful hits were in the bands worst period of time. The band members stated that they can't even think about Iowa without remember dark periods of drugs and alcohol. Then all hope is gone is even more unbearable for Corey bc of his divorce. Js
