Probably would have been excellent if I had a 72 ounce blender carafe, the silicone trays, and used zucchini. I also left it in a little too long. But I will definitely add this to my meal plan! Hi Sis I feel that same way but the apple adds the sweet balance needed and the stickiness needed to make the wraps tacky enough to stick together. You don't taste the apple. Give it a try,
Can you be more specific? Is the wrapper itself not good or the filling? Is it the texture that’s not good or the flavor? Are you new to raw or vegan or is this all very different from what you’re accustomed to? In addition to trying this one, I am thinking of buying Lissa’s book so I’d like to know. This looks excellent! I would add sweet onion. There was a raw vegan restaurant in NYC back in around 2005 called Raw Soul I think it was and she had a raw vegan burger with a bun made of sweet potatoes that was excellent, both taste and texture.

I live in the South so I’ve been to quite a few raw vegan restaurants and own several cookbooks and unfortunately this was just not it for me. I wanted to try something besides Kamut bread and this just didn’t do it for me. I’d also like to add that I wasn’t overly found of the texture either but it was the taste that was not ok. I weighed each item as I have a scale and it just didn’t taste good.

I’m sorry, no diss to RawFoodRomance but I need some black ppl making these wraps and tweaking them because I tried one and it was not good.

dehydrator is a low temperature oven, and very expensive to use, so this is not raw.
How does the cost of using a dehydrator determine if the food (wraps in this case) is raw or not?
