lol nah. Graves has some catchy songs but he isn’t a big deal plus he’s unreliable. Also his political views are based in ignorance and that has alienated a lot of fans from him. I met Graves a few times. He’s a nice guy but sometimes he’s a bit delusional

I take him at his word because he seems genuine and I’m from Jersey so I know how Jersey people can be. That’s me. I understand your feelings about politics but he has a right to his beliefs and many of his beliefs I have too. On the other hand, I can understand a fan’s reaction to hearing their favorite artists having insane political views. Tom Morello drives me crazy and that pushes me away from RATM, although I do occasionally listen to them and the music is still good but then I think, “Oh man. That guy is a communist.” I just thought it would be a cool thing if it ever happened. That’s all

As for unreliable, that’s from like 25 years ago. People change. I personally think it was a clash of egos. He was a kid that became front man for one of punks most iconic bands in history. Ego will hit. I’m sure he’d be professionally more in line with ego in check now.

Misfits want to make money and they don’t want to compromise that especially for a singer that wasn’t popular to begin with and someone that will turn off other fans from attending. Punk fans aren’t conservatives for the most part and Graves outspokenness has put off a lot of them.

This is a video that was recorded for the film Bruiser, the George Romero flick, and in return for this song, Romero directed their Scream music video. The only reason you can even make the comparison between Danzig and Graves is because of the band name. You might as well just separate it into two different bands, they are nothing alike in almost any capacity. Danzig played up the brutality of horror films, the Graves played up the strangeness and kookiness. You are comparing two completely different genres of music, it makes no sense. This would be a HORRIBLE comparison anyway, seeing as how Graves' Misfits never did any other music like this in their entire catalog.
