wow great soundstage and ambience, good clarity and detail overall, love new age / chill music too!!! a change of pace is well appreciated to see how these perform with different genres of music
Hi, I had many years ago a pair of Contours 1.3 SE which I sold for a reason. Now I had the chance to grab these Emit M20 and just can say how lucky I was. When less is more ...fantastic small monitors!
I have these speakers and rate them highly. I had the Audience 52 before that and the Emit 20s are the natural development of the 52s. If they sound bright on this vid then I suspect the room itself may be slightly echoic/hard, as the Emit 20s don't play bright in my room.
These seam to be a great example of how a stand mount can disappear in a room . Floor standing sound from a stand mount! Sweet, good music choice to demo that . Thanks, you really think your demo’s thru before hand.
I would say sadly not. I have a Marantz mcr603, an earlier model with a similar power rating, and I bought the Elac debut reference br62, speakers of about the same size and sensitivity as these. Not enough oomph to drive them I'm afraid.
I've got Dynaudio Emit M 20 for fifteen months. In my opinion they are excellent speakers. Being unexpensive, but not cheap, they are of great value. They play classical music, jazz or rock with enthusiasm and without any noticeable distortions. I recommend them strongly, but remember to pair them with powerful amplifier!
Hi there! I am looking into buying these speakers to pair with a Akai AA-1040 receiver. Do you have any insight into the pairing of these speakers with vintage receivers. Vintage watts are said to be rather different, so to speak, from modern watts… Thank you!
Does Acram fmj a39,is power amplifier,100 w on the 8 ohm,200 on 4ohm.That is enough power and stability for this emit.Maybe Rega elcit, Roksan k3,.. Primare i22
Hmm... A little bright I think and the bottom end was muddy. Maybe its the recording. Seems the highs and bottom end are not working well together. But everything sounds so so now after hearing those YG speakers here.
I own these and they do not need to be sat in the middle of nowhere on stands, mine are 40cm from a wall sat on an oak cabinet, I use the bungs to control the bass boom, and they sound wonderful….got the money to upgrade to anything I desire….but love these too much to go looking for white rabbits and holes……I now listen to various genres I would never have considered before….
These sound very good indeed. I'm thinking of purchasing with my Audiolab 6000a, do you think they'd be complimentary? I have no way to sound test in store. Also really wanting great soundstage and mids, they sound like they deliver, what are your thoughts? A reply would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
123oner I have a pair. The Audiolab would suit them well. They have excellent bass and really start to sing when set around 2m apart and about 1m from rear wall. You wouldn’t be disappointed. But if you want to save money the ELAC Debut b6.2 are brilliant and can go closer to a wall. I have a pair and won’t sell them because I sometimes swap them back and fore with the Dynaudio’s just for a change. The Elac’s out perform with different albums I have. Incredible for the price.
@@Boatzerama Hey, thanks so much for the response, super helpful! Ahhh i am actually looking at the ELAC reference DBR62's. Basically I have Monitor Audio Bronze 2's, i like them, good amount of detail, airy, bass seems reasonable, but it's the upper bass/mids that seem a bit thin. I was hoping the Emit 20's would be more punchy/fuller. I've heard the Elac DBR62's and thought they definitely filled that wants (stronger mids) but then i think they loose a little detail on top. I have read about the Elac Debut b6.2's and heard very good things. I might revisit them. Just had concerns they were a little 'too' neutral?? Cheers!
Not a good recording to truly know how these loudspeakers perform! The recording sounds like we are in a cave and that says nothing about how these loudspeakers perform...however, some interesting music.

Hi Alberto, i still own a pair of Contour 1.3SE. Considering a pair of the emit M10 or M20. Would you be kind enough to share your take on them?

@@johningham4219can you recommend (good match; least expensive ) amps for emit20?
sorry to reply so late, but would you say the audience is as good as the emit m20 ?
What a sound? What a synergy? What a music? 👂👏👍
I bought it one year ago, the best for this price
What amplifier dou you use?
Can you go over your reasoning for that marble slab under the stands? Is that because the flooring is uneven? Or is there a sound improvement? Thanks!
Con questo pezzo rendono meglio
Awesome video good sound 😊 one question I have the yamaha A- s501 amplifier would it be perfect sound?(compatible) thanks.
The host has excellent taste in music.. the first rule of audio is to enjoy it ... does it emotionally involve the listener or is simply Hi FI.. ?
Wow thanks for this!
In your honest opinion, which speaker is better or you prefer - Dynaudio Emit 20 v Bowers & Wilkins 606? . Thank you

Dynaudio Emit M20 (original) vs Dali Oberon 3 vs Dali Opticon???
vs Wharfdale Evo 4.2???
How do you compare this with the WHARFEDALE EVO4.2
Cambridge Audio CXA 80 amplifier a good match for these Dynaudio speakers? Thanks!
I have Cambridge CXA81 paired with Dynaudio Evoke 20 and they work very well together in my opinion. You should definately try it out.
Hope in real life at our home also gives similar sound performance!
Can you compare them to the kef ls50??
Wow really good! Are Elac debut reference br62 as good as this? I ask because its dimensions and specs are nearly the same.
These are a fun and dynamic speaker compared to the elac
Is the little Marantz MCR612 powerful enough to drive them correctly ?

What amplifier recommend for this model Dynaudio.?? Creek Evo or Arcam fmj a 32.
Hi.There are piano white klipsch in the back?😲

Magnat Quantum 673 vs Dynaudio emit m20?
I am interested about Magnat Signature 503.
Boss for your choice of music 😘✌️
Also could you pls tell the model of the Denon Amp ?
Is the Rotel RA1592 amplifier a good match for these speakers. Thank you
heh this is kind of speakers that need 3 times more expensive electronic to sound good. Something like Kef LS50...

unfair comparison. $1000 Dynaudio vs the $50,000+ YG speaker you're referring

This is just false sound from such small speakers. And for many other speakers that vibrate with it.
Play same song through same speakers in a home environment with regular furniture and maybe you’ll change your mind. Waiting for your feedback
retrodaze correct, I have a pair and the soundstage is amazing. Played that track ultra HD and wow!!
Are these speakers good at low volume? I have some doubts..
I have the same speaker with audiolab 8300a. Which is 115w*2/4Ω. Is the amp good enough to drive the speakers ? Or I should replace them. Thanks.
