    I witnessed similar events in Arizona in the late 1970's. Severe rain storms in N. Arizona would create water "snakes" that flowed down the dry river beds. We would stop at a bridge, see it coming like in the video, then wait for a few minutes until the "tail" arrived. As it went down stream the dry bed absorbed the water.

      @Te G NOT TRUE - Flash floods have been common in the region since biblical times, and the modern flooding was a result of heavy rain in mountainous regions several miles away from the arid land. Lack of sufficient rainfall due to drought meant that this was the first time in years that water flowed through the River Zin, which starts in the Ramon Crater, located around 52 miles (85 kilometers) south of the city of Beersheba and winds it way through the Plain of Sodom before ending 75 miles (120 km) to the northeast at the Dead Sea. The Ramon Crater is an ancient geological formation that is the world’s largest makhtesh-a geological landform unique to the Negev region that is created not by meteor impact or volcanic eruption, but by erosion.

Israel have been using water from Nile river for a while now in negev desert! all the fruits it export are not miraculously grown in desert, but they get water from Nile through el salam canal which is part of toshka project. toshka project was largely funded by Israel through billionaire Sawris, an egyptian citizen but israeli agent!

      If there's enough rain throughout the winter and spring, than it stays for a few months. It usually dries up during the hot summer months, and by autumn it's normally gone.

    • @bababooey7576
      @bababooey7576 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was just initially curious as to the source of it. I know they said rain water etc., just wondered how long it stayed and whether it was a spring that dried up due to no rain or just huge run off etc., no big deal. no religious angle in the slightest.

    This is video of a flash flood as it is called in Arizona. It is a common occurrence during our summer Monsoon season. Heavy rainfall miles up stream create run off that is too much for the ground to absorb and a flash flood is the results. I did not realize that Israel had these floods too. Of course it only stands to reason.It's always a fun phenomenon to watch.
