I only just reviewed the S21 plus and was so impressed with it. This s22 plus seems like a very nice device 😄
Tips : Turn off 5G if not using it. - Optimize your settings for better battery life. Go Ultra if you can hold it ok, it has spen, 108mp camera and 10x optical zoom..which is insane....also 12gb of Ram. --- Go for s22+ if you do not need the above.

I so wanted the Ultra for the zoom, but settled for the white Plus. Found I was using my spare A30s over my Note 9, for the flat screen, lighter weight and rounded corners. This phone has got such a balanced, comfortable feel in the hand. I have small hands and found the Ultra bulky, pointy, too big and I'm not a fan of the curved screen, and of course it's very expensive. I got a fantastic trade in on my Note 9, plus the earbuds and accessory voucher. This phone must last me for at least 4 years, when I hope the Flip will have better cameras, battery and dust protection!

I do like the Green color, but I purchased the S22 in Phantom Black back on March 8th. & I love it! I've mostly always had black phones! I did like the look of last year's S21 purple colored phone, but again I don't know if I'd ever buy one or not!

I probably would had chose the s22 over the +, but I got a great sale on it, and went the better battery route. It is a huge 6.6 screen, but it's a little bigger than my last phone of the samsung edge 7 5.5 screen.
i just got a 22 plus. I had the regular 6.1 s22 but my problem with it was i was only getting SOT around 5-6 hours, till i need to charge it up again. besides that, i LOVED how compact and the size of it. Its very slick and very light. I just had to switch it up to the Plus version and ive had more better luck with it lasting throughout the day. not to mention i got it at abargain price, i cant pass it up.
Got mine a few days ago. White one. Damn beautiful. Loving it. Been using Note 10+ for almost 3 years.
I'm contemplating this exact upgrade since my 10+ broke.
I got the white one as well it's so smooth and it will just get smoother with every update

are the video calls on the s22 choppy (low fps)? i had to return the s22 ultra due to poor video call performance from that 40mp front facing camera. great video !

I made the move from apple to samsung a few days ago and so far it is amazing. The only thing I hate is I see the tmobile logo when I turn on and off phone which I hate.

How much does the system storage take? Is it over 30gb? Im annoyed at my 7t now, taking almost 30gb for the system storage.
And. Samsungpay is still usable at paywave terminal right? Kinda want to get the iphone, but the dex & samsungpay is quite attractive

i just got the 256 green version at around 830 usd this thing should last me 5 years i think its better than the ultra due to it not being a brick and having better design and speakers

Based on GSMArena charging test between 25W vs 45W charger on Galaxy S22 Plus, there's not much different in charging time, less than 5 minutes to be exactly, so if you don't have either and planning to buy one for S22 Plus/Ultra, just get the 25W since it's much cheaper & you don't lose much in charging time.

There is a difference when charging 0%-80% with 45w. After 80% the 45w slows down so it doesn't over heat phone.
@@vyvynylification not true hubby has 45w charger for his s22 plus it charges much faster from 20-80%
@@MissSmurfey The 25W will literally be at 75% in that time and 25W is more healthy for the battery

As to the eSIM capability: In the USA, the major networks, Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile offer eSIM capability. I use Spectrum which is primarily a Cable provider but also has great mobile coverage. It does not yet support eSIMs. So I'll just use a Nano SIM on the S22+ that I have ordered, until Spectrum is able to transfer the SIM to the eSIM on the phone. I think that in two years, there will be no phones that use Nano SIMs across the world. Dual SIM is going to be state of the art forever. I've heard that you can have two eSIMs on one phone.

bro the display of s22+ can hit 1750 nits peak brightness just like the s22 ultra! only the s22 has 1300 nits peak brightness
I just got my s22 plus 1 day ago. I'm not very techy at all. I'm trying to figure out all I can about this phone so that I can use all its potential. Well I can't even figure out the camera. And haven't made a dent besides the basics of the phone in general .Lol

Watching this on my Sky blue 22+ so that was my choice of colour. But If I would go for another colour it would definitely be the green.
I've always had black phones, it's very nice to see more colour options to today's phones !
Can it last a day with heavy use?
@@tarekekram8441 I'm really not the right person to ask as I never let my battery go down below 30% or over 85% but so far I have been satisfied with the battery life and it's improving over time as the algorithm learns how I use the phone. And I'm confident it would last me a full day no problems. Also I am on Exynos version.
@@ericgranstrom8513 thnx for sharing. Am trying to collect all new users opinion because the bigger battery on the plus model is the only reason for me to buy or pay more for it. Since I prefer the regular S22. But most people say its really bad. Even after a week or two. Not sure if there is an update might fix that though. Will see.

@@NFS-shade I'm trying something new, to be very aware of my new device's battery health. Many reports suggests that you should keep your device between 30-85% cause that's apperently the sweet spot for lithium battery. So I turned on the protect battery option in settings which only allows the phone to charge up to 85%

Compared to the Realme GT2 Pro, what does the S22 plus do better aside from IP68 and telephoto cam?
True it is a good device but the S22+ has better software optimization and support even despite its lower benchmark scores, along with a better ecosystem of products and productivity capabilities with windows and dex. You can get both of them for around the same price. However you may be able to get an S22+ lower or free. Depending on the trade in deals, or switching to a new phone provider. Both are great! just have to choose which one suits your needs more. 👍
@@micahjohnson9184 we bought our dad a gt2 pro, for 28k php, can't seem to find an s22+ here for less than 38k. Also, s22+ is kinda wide, the gt2 pro feels very nice in the hand. Very interested to see what the Xperia 5 iv has to offer.
Probably the most complete Android smartphone in the market atm. Honestly so many manufacturers even throw away the zoom I wonder what exactly they think people want in their smartphones. Display is great, and the fact that it has good software support means it'll last a while. It is the most complete Android smartphone currently which is why it's the best competition to iPhones. I feel like Chinese brands are trying to make an identity but they aren't as impactful as Samsung, except Huawei.
Most photographers don't use the zoom module due to the smaller sensor size. Even if one does, it's more to get a close look of a subject but is likely not photography worthy in quality.
@@davidletterboyz most photographers don't but think of the situation. How many times do you went to an event that doesn't allow you to go close to the main event? Weddings, shows, broadcast, birthdays, zoom buildings etc. Digital zoom aren't really nice and the fact that many higher end flagships don't include one baffles me. I'd rather have all three than missing one. Reviewers criticized the functionality of zoom but I believe it's just as useful as an ultrawide.

A lot of the Chinese brands don't sell outside of china and last I knew america still had a ban on certain Chinese phones

If I'm lucky, avg 6 hrs. That's me mainly being indoors on wifi. When I'm out and about, it's about 4. Don't think I'm keeping it
@@smperl0c0 ohh that’s bad and I thought my s22 was crappy!!! 4-5 hours SoT on 5g, 120hz without dark mode, gave me battery anxiety and I switched to 13pro - got solid 6-7 hours SoT!
I have the green 22+ very nice but small or my hands are on the larger side, switch off everything you don't need 120hz screen scrolling etc the battery is not the best.

Please make a review on photography of Vivo X80 Pro versus Samsung S22+. In some review, the Vivo X80 (not the pro) has very bad colour rendtion in day light (not night).

I get 24hrs total and 9hrs SOT with 15% to spare on my s22+ snapdragon. I charge it over night and it lasts me till the next night. 9hrs SOT is unusual for me in 24hrs i was using it more to test out the battery, i usually end the day with roughly 30% charge left and maybe 7.5hrs SOT.

Get the 21ultra. Hands down a better product
I prefer S22+ in classic black. It doesn't matter what kind of black it is called to whether it's Jet Blk or Phantom Blk. I have an S22+ on order w/T-Mobile.
It is due in tomorrow I can't wait. I'll also be looking screen protector and case for my smart phone to keep it safe from bruises and scratches.. Samsung Forever!

I was wondering which phone is better between the Galaxy S22+ and the Oppo Find X5 Pro.
My priorities are: Screen/Display, Camera, Battery endurance, Software support and connectivity.
Less important: Speed/Power (i dont game), charging speed, speakers.
*Both phones are identical price at the time of writing.
