Great choice to speed it up a bit and make it more aggressive! It would have been so difficult to get that wall of sound the original track has with a 3 piece band (which is probably why RHCP never did it live despite being one of their best songs) but you definitely managed to fill out every gap that john filled with his over dubs!! Also, the performance itself is just ridiculously good!!
I respectfully disagree. while the performance is fine, and the guitarist himself is quite impressive, the song feels rushed, *especially* during the guitar solo. I'd rather hear this covered too slow, than too fast. regardless yes this was a nice performance. I still feel bad for the guitarist though
@@TheRealInky I think its very much in the spirit of the Peppers. It feels good a bit faster and gives it a certain necessity, as if it needs to get out there.
