- Arrma Fireteam BLX 6s-speed test with 46t spur and 15t optional speed pinion. 46t spur install included. Smc racing lipos 120c used. How fast will it go?

@@moerc definitely moves and good temps also..I tried 23/50 but it got really hot so figured to swap center gears with my infraction since its got a 4585 1800kv it will be fine on 25/50
Moe, Very impressed with the speed of the Fireteam. Maybe go to 18T?? Also, for tires that do not balloon much, that is really great speed. 👍💪🤟

18t? I like that idea. I was thinking 20t next but maybe we will slow walk it all the way to 24t.
This 46t spur and 15t pinion, is the same gearing as the infraction and felony. I think the infraction did 62mph stock and felony did 66stock. So 64 is solid with these tires for sure!

With mine and a 50t spur and 16t pinion I got a max of 66mph..... Have you changed/tuned your diffs. I run 30/500/20 front to back..... Tune those diffs and see what kind of speeds you get afterwards.

Why not raise the punch wouldn’t that increase overall top end ???
In my experience and could be wrong,
When doing speed runs I like the punch lower because it is easier to get the vehicle to full speed because all four tires stay planted. When the punch is up higher, the vehicle tends to do wheelies, especially when you start gearing it up. Also, I noticed punch effects low-mid end torque vs top speed.
Just my opinion and could be wrong like i said.
