The words she sings is the music to my soul. Any artist that can capture that is on the way to the top. The fact that she is highly talented vocalist makes her unstoppable. Now combine that with sheer honesty.....damn all I can say is thank-you.

I miss her, writing great songs for mediocre singers certainly pays the bills, and lets be on point, that's what matters! However we may never see this level of performance again. Its a fine line between up and coming, and success. I think Sia will come back to us some dam hopefully with the soulful tones we love.
Ive just found Sia's back catalogue, and its amazing. She was a totally different artiste back then. I knew she could sing from hearing the modern stuff, but paid little attention as it is super produced and polished pop songs (nothing wrong with that) but just not for me. Then I stumbled across her version of "I go to sleep" by The Pretenders. She was performing it in a radio station interview and it was just incredible, made me cry!

Her newer stuff is actually songs she wrote for other artists that either got rejected or she decided to keep for herself! She says she is not emotionally attached to them but they are fun songs
It is Sia... she actually changed because she wanted to do it. This decision was made before she got famous... she said she studied pop music for 6 months before even singing it. Artists like to evolve...
