it takes a lot of practice to master franco hooks. as a noob pretty sure you will missed a lot but as you get the hang of it, you can increase your accuracy. if you watch kenzy, wolfxotic and few betosky gameplay, you will improve a lot. add the the tips that MTB taught and you will be a master hooker in no time also, getting a high map awareness is needed too. sometimes, when the enemies are missing, there are some suspicious bushes that you can use to do a surprise hook.

I you use the focus mark talent in support emblem.Which makes our ally to deal more damage to the enemy target.Which is extremely helpful whenever I use Franco or tigreal.They both give heavy cc on enemies and with focus mark talent our allies will easily delete the enemies. Actually the focus mark of support emblem is equal to high and dry takent of assassin emblem helping us to deal additional damage to enemies. And also we can have high hp and Mana Regen. That's why support emblem is the best emblem set for tanks (according to me)
