growing up 40 miles away from the Ranvilles and being the same age as C-Weed, I admired and watched them grow from CKDM to the Brunswick and to the bright lights that they now so deservedly command. So proud of u guys - and with the likes of the Dutiames and Paul Hampton - it just cant get any better. Whatta DYNAMITE package! Thanks so much all of you!
Cweeds Cabaret..Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg. Had a great time at all of them! Great memories and Music! Lived in all those cities. Thanks Errol for your music.
Yes they are and I've been able to have the chance to jam with all them guy's. And I'm proud to say that I've learned alot from guys like them. Especially a guy named Smokin Joe Campbell, of whom was my band mate for so long. He told me that his Aunt was married to Clyder the Slider Roulette. And when I started getting tendonitis in my forearm from playing the Dungeon gigs in Thompson at the Thompson Inn. Which was 29 45min sets from Monday thru Saturday night. His advice was "grab a lighter and play some slide lil brother". And yeah it was good advice. Like I said I've learned from the best of the MB musicians over the last 14 year's. My wife Rox knows and loves these guys too. The guys in Joe Maxim Band are my best friends too. And they have a bassist who was one of my Turkeyz at one time. I had a band called the Thompson Turkeyz who were pretty popular at one time in Thompson. These guys were Jeff McKenzie, Colin Cheechoo, Quinton Bignell and Myles Tarvis. To this day, it's been the best band I've ever had and performed with. And that band was one that I fronted. And I've always paid the boys good. Even if I had to break into my cut. I've never had a problem doing this cuz my late Uncle Edward Gamblin told me "keep the boys happy and they'll never let u down". True to his word it's been good advice. So bless the C Weed Band and all the guys I've played with. Thanks to all u guys. Amen!
I remember these guys blasting the roof off in the 80s, always top-notch music. Some of the parties back then, all the girls were in love with Clint,,,haha. Thanks for the memories guys. I'm an old Langside boy and this kind of makes me homesick, greener pastures in the west, but aint you-tube wonderful? I'll sign off with "GO JETS"
