Is the Fujfilm X100F still worth it?

- Recently I picked up a #FujifilmX100F to get back into photography after 3 long years. I wasn't very happy with my photography previously because I fell into a rut of copying trends and not paying attention to my composition, settings, or colors. In this video, I talk about the process of buying one and why it might be a better option than the brand-new #FujfilmX100V .

Nice vid man... I got my F a few months ago through MPB. Picked it up for just under $800... When I got it I checked the shutter count .. less than TWO HUNDRED!!! This has already become my all time favorite digital camera.

Great video! I’m about to pick up a used one for about $800 CDN (so about $630 USD) but no extras. Very excited to give it a try. Most excited about not having to think about what lens I wish I had. I owned several Fuji cameras and even if I owned one lens bright one lens, I always thought “what if”. Now to work with what I got I think it’ll really help clear my mindset and just shoot.
I was going to pick up a x100f but the price difference from where I'm at used to getting a v used was only $170-ish. I ended up with the V. Now I see that it's going around $600 man, that's a top pick to pick up. I still use my original X100 to this day too

Thanks so much! Just found this camera in my area for $850, he's really FIRM on his pricing, but it comes with the Fuji converter too which is like 350 on amazon. I hope he can wait for me to save up for it. I sold my x100t and fully regret it. I followed you on IG @storypixi, I'm a xt2 shooter.

Awesome video mate. I'm an X100 series user currently using the incredible F. I shoot everything from street, and family to landscapes. The vast vast majority of the stills on my channel were shot with the F. It never lets me down. Feel free to take a look....shameless plug... I want to upgrade to the V but really I don't think I need to the F is just sooooooo damn good. I'd buy a used F in a heartbeat. Great camera at a great price right now. Was just informing myself on camera’s, as I’m a complete photography noob. That sudden crossover to XQC made me sub, lol. Got interested in this camera through Reckful, he loved this camera.

@@conthemar Yeah, the news was really hard on me. I started watching in 2015, during this time his stream was often a shelter for me while I was going through periods of deep depression and anxiety. I can honestly say he is one of the reasons I'm still here right today. Absolutely love the guy, hope he's resting in peace.

I just found one on eBay for $700 with a ZERO SHUTTER COUNT...Couldn't believe my luck - let's hope I've not just been scammed! But looks legit. If so, I'll be a happy boy.

Even the T and S are still worth it in 2020 since they're all pretty much the same, except the 24MP on the F.
I was considering those, but i sadly need that 24mp if I want to do higher quality prints from my traveling later next year :/

Yes! It's the Metrocase for X100 series. It's pretty good, and it actually centers the thread at the bottom for tripods LOL
In the UK it’s £750 with the original leather case... new!! Release price was £1250... why but used :)
That's a pretty great price! Here in the US it's sadly still $1k for a brand new one :(
You would really take 5000 photos in 1 week? I've had a camera for about 6 weeks, I've been OBSESSED, probably spent a good 1-2 hours a day out shooting on average and I've only taken 3900 photos
It was more of an exaggeration LOL, but if I traveled somewhere for a week, I'd be taking looooots of photos.

Joseph Walker I was supposed to go on a trip to japan this fall. I would’ve probably done 5000 photos daily 😶😭
@@conthemar rip, covid cancelled my study abroad year in Melbourne too. Idk if I'd have gotten into photography if I went though! So maybe it's a plus
the only bad thing is that it dosen't have weather sealing :(..
yeah, that's a big reason why people will more than likely go for the V and just gloss over the F :/
What is the grip/halfcase you are using?
it's the Metrocase for the X100 series! it came with the package on ebay haha
Try Acros on ISO 2000. You get a natural film grain📸 @sufstreet
Nice on a side note throw your Mayors and governors out of your city fight these locks down
You find no better camera for this money!
