****Your Video Was a Great Help**** I am making a special Tooth Fairy Pillow for my youngest granddaughter and I wanted to put an eyelet lace around it. I was just going to pit it in the middle and sew it but after watching this video I learned a much better way to do it. Thank You. I believe that she will love the pillow and possible even keep it for her children. You make a real difference!
thank you for being spacific on your instructions. thats where lots os tutorial dont give the exact length on how many inches of fabric is needed to make a ruffle long enough for a 16x16 pillow. thank you again.
KInd of hilarious I wrote that message thinking i was sending it to the advertisement in the middle of your video. I made two ruffled pillows and it took a while but i learned how to use my gathering or ruffling foot. Just bought it at your advice.
Excellent video! Your voice is so pleasant, your instructions are understandable. I wish I'd watched BEFORE I cut the backing to my pillow...I probably got it too small...if all else, read/watch the instructions...:( Your pillow looked great. I especially like the tip about pinning the ruffle in the corners. Important clue. Thanks!!! Anna
Should I. Wash Fabrics before cutting for making pillow with ruffles on it. I will be machine embroidery on the front of the pillow.. Your teachering is wonderful.
Hi Cynthia. I recommend before you cut into you fabric do a zigzag stitch on both raw edges. Then wash and dry it. Then give the fabric a good pressing. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi Sandrinou. You can cut the fabric strip for the ruffle anywhere between one and half for two times the measurement around the edge of the pillow. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
Yes it didn’t seem to matter. From what I’ve heard this foot works best with lightweight fabric. I resorted to three rows of basting stitch and will hand gather it.
Your tutorials are always easy to follow! Thank you!

Merci merci, you read in my mind, just was wondering how to do a ruffle pillow today.
Is there a formula to figure out the right ruffle length for a bigger pillow?
Hi Kooky. No there isn't. I always tell viewers to make it any size that they like. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi Sheryl , its your fellow Lefty. I was wondering if you have the tutorial on the Sewing machine cover behind you.
Thank you

Hi, how to measure longer ruffle band for the perimeter of cushion ? we do x 3 ? x 2 ?
Hi Sandrinou. You can cut the fabric strip for the ruffle anywhere between one and half for two times the measurement around the edge of the pillow. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
@@TheSewingRoomChannel thanks for your answer 🥰
Beautiful thank you 😊
Mine doesn’t gather at all. Not sure where I’m going wrong.
Hi Claire. Are you doing a large basting stitch with a length of at least 10.0 long?
Yes it didn’t seem to matter. From what I’ve heard this foot works best with lightweight fabric. I resorted to three rows of basting stitch and will hand gather it.
Beautifullllll
Love it
Oh how cute
