The scenes in BO2 where Woods is old and in a wheelchair take place in 2025, which is around 30ish years after BO6 takes place. BO2 is split between Alex and David Mason's POVs. David is Alex's son, and he does all the futuristic stuff in 2025, while Alex's POV is doing old school operations in the late 70s. Woods is in his 90s in 2025, and in his 50s in the late 70s. I believe Alex is in his 50s around that time frame as well.

( i get this story "EXPLAINS" that. But it was still a very unexplained hole during that whole mission as Woods)

The missions in this game all feel way too short...Cold war was better imo, I really enjoy the espionage though and Addler is dope. Also did Mason and Hudson just die offscreen? If you talk to Addler he tells you that they both died at Panama and he was framed for it, even though he wasn't even there? Maybe this is cleared up later in the game...I haven't finished it yet. Ditto on having genuine care for Park as well, I was bummed when I couldn't play as Addler or Park in MP or zombies without buying the vault edition...
Mason is "dead" in black ops two depending on if you shot him in the head or missed intentionally during the Panama mission and Hudson was killed by Menendez after we "shot" Mason and David AKA section was in the room under hallucination done by Raul Menendez

whelp, I crashed 3 times on the open world mission and had my save file wiped...I think I am done with black ops 6 for awhile and ready to say that it might be worse than MW3, simply on a technical level, since the game is actively trying to stop me from having fun with it. (Let's just not talk about how bad the spawn systems and maps are in the MP, or how anemic the gun selection is this time around or the fact that the game resets my settings every time I launch it) Also random pet peeve of mine; why do all the Iraqi soldiers have XM4s and L85's? (British rifle)
The newer black ops should have been adler being the guy that we played as, since in other black ops we were the person that had been brainwashed at least change the perspective as the guy who did the brainwashing it would have been cool i just don't like it when the story of adler is in a seasonal warzone game its such a waste of potential
This campaign felt like a fever dream and not in a good way, they did so many things right with it, but the story felt so disconnected and so many loose ends
