I just recreated mine with crepe fabric and its so beautiful but I wasn't able to move my leg freely in it. I want to ask maybe I can add a slit to it at the back
I am with you on this… I used to be so scared of stretchy fabrics and this is the first time using it. RULE 1, use the correct needle size. RULE 2, Do not pull stretchy fabrics while sewing it,that is do not stretch it whilst sewing, just allow it move freely.

Yes you can add slit to it… Mine is a stretchy fabric maybe that’s why i didn’t need a slit. Please add a slit❤️❤️

Any stretchy fabric of choice. Also you can use a non stretchy fabric but you will need to add seam allowance and 0.5 ease allowance.

The back length is same as the front length. I added same 5inches to both of them.

oh, i understand… once you ruch it becomes shorter. It’s longer when you wear it but once you ruch it, the front drags the back, so it shortens.
