The JJRC JJPRO X5 EPIK is a really well rounded GPS Camera drone with a nice 1080P camera! Everything you see in this video is included with the drone, except for a phone to mount on the transmitter. The camera on the drone comes with it, and has the ability to tilt up and down mid flight to get a better vantage point for your camera shot! Brushless motors means this will run quieter, and more efficient, meaning a much longer expected life out of your quadcopter. I purchased this drone when it first came out and keep the batteries charged a bit over 25 to 30% to void deteriation or being full charged as they get ruined stores fully charged because of the materials. I charged both batteries now and took one out and flew it and was amazed after all this time even with some wind it was a nice day to fly so I ran it and used it until return home kicked in and really enjoyed it and then cme back in and watched your old full video. It is an amazing place where you live and I enjoy your video again after several years. I do have many other DJI from mini 1,2, & 3 pro, Mavic series 1 Platinum, the 2 pro with Hasselblad, and the new 3 Classic and I still enjoyed this old bird a lot. Excellent review - this looks like a quad that has a small learning curve (compared to the more usual racing type quads) but has a lot of features at a reasonable price point - a good mix. WOW! That is really impressive. I was shocked, we have been waiting for something to come along that was less than a Spark but had the features that LeAn could have to learn to really fly with. We just didn't want to spend DJI money and buy the Fly More to risk losing 500 learning to fly. I really think this could be it. Under 200 hits the price point and it has some of the features, GPS, 1080p some ability to control the camera. I can't wait to show this to her. Glad I listened to you and abby over the years I have purchased over 25 drones thanks to your great videos luv my drones it all began with the bug's 3 drucon blue one that's how I learned from being flying one with out GPS have the bugs that's got a sensor built on the bottom great drone no GPS but it sets still because it is a small bugs got it for 50 dollars bugs makes some great drone s and I have some GPS drones and are in rc cars and trucks luve them too been collecting for over 5 years and it's all thanks to you getting me in the hobby luv thanks again for posting great products too purchase and have a collection of rc boats luv the hobby Nate and abby have told me what to purchase and what not too purchase thanks again your the great people and very honest I like that you don't sugar coat it just too sell the product you're honest and I like that you don't see that anymore keep the great work up thank you again Mike Holden out of north Carolina said that

I have to say I’ve watched a lot of video reviews. I wanted some bells and whistles, but didn’t want the price to jump out of sight. I started watching the Saylors vids because the hs120d might of had potential. Also the hs700. These reviews seemed very honest and had a homespun warm appeal. The review for this one did it for me and I pulled the trigger for this, along with 3 batteries for about $165. It will be one I can learn with, without too much worry. Great job!

maybe i missed when u said it but does this drone have only 10min fly time? do u get more better fly time out of the 2nd aftermarket batt?and what about self level hovering??..what is the hieght n distance it can go?

Honestly, if this is where your budget is, it's a really great choice! It flies so well, and all of the FPV and app functions worked much better than I would have expected. Great drone! Happy Flying R!
What charger/discharger would you recommend for these batteries? Need a faster charge than the charger that came with it. Thank you!
Is that small connector on the charger a jst? I have a Hitec charger that I could probably charge the battery quicker than the included one.
Newbie question: can u use the app on another device at the same time like an ipad so grandma can watch the live video feed while I fly or will that interfere with the phone app functions?

i just got this drone getting ready to fly it and i notice one of the rotors was not spinning freely what should i do i have had a drone befor do this and i had to return it it always pulled to one side

How do you charge these proprietary batteries without using their cheap, SLOW chargers? Can you use the Venom duo or the SkyRC Imax BC?
How about to get better photos quality? Tiff or RaW a bit sharper? Maybe in the app or smth? Please help

Have you tried test fly mjx bugs 5w? They are both really similar..have you tried flying more than 150 to 200m and still get good fpv cos some reviews get freeze screens when reaching 100 to 150m? Could you send a link of the mjx 5w test flights and the range test flights of both quads? Thanks
If you switch off the GPS off and say there was a loss of signal, would the drones internal computer switch it on again for the auto return to home.

Does the epic require the wifi or is it a dedicated transmitter? If it requires the wifi, does the app work on Samsung Note 9, which is not a 5G phone?

I got my drone in the mail yesterday and took it for a test flight. Loving it so far. Got two batteries with it and charged them over night to fly again today. What charger would y’all recommend using for a faster charge than 5 hours?

I can't find you guys review for the Bugs 5g. Have you done one yet? I understand it's almost exactly like this one. Nearly every TH-cam Drone reviewers have done one but could't find yours.
Nice review you have there. what do you think comparing this JJPRO x5 with MJX B5W in terms of the flight control, the controller, software, and video quality?
Just ordered one today after tons of research I chose this. Got it for $185 on Ebay. They are on there for way more, some of these models are going for over $300 now. Mabe I'll be able to find my kids toy drone I lost I a swampy farm field that's all overgrown. I cant walk all through that overgrown grass and bryers, lol. Good video.
Just a thought - wondering if the battery for this drone could be charged using the Bugs 3 charger with wall plug for faster and more convenient charging. The proprietary piece looks like it has the same connection as the Bugs 3 battery, if so, it could be plugged into the Bugs 3 charger, assuming of course you have a Bugs 3. Any thoughts from anyone that may have both drones?

I’m Just getting into RC stuff at the ripe old age of 68. I purchased a 3 channel park flyer and then decided to buy a drone. I saw many reviews, including this one on the JJPro x5, and thought this had some good features to start with. It came with just a basic charger and after doing some homework, I bought the Venom pro duo. Now I find out that the batteries are proprietary and the store guys said the venom would not work with them. Is that true? I bought a tester to tell me the battery state, but how do I balance and storage charge them?
I like the drone so far btw and plan to buy a good beginning plane by Spring.

OK you guys! Congrats on the 150#. I've watched so many videos I'm dizzy & confused. Most reviews focus on the cameras & tech talk. So after watching this at least 5+ time's. I ordered this drone through your link, w/3 batteries and they threw in a bag. 160 bucks w/shipping. Probably have many questions. Will ask one, where is the Sim card slot? Sorry one more. what size/type Sim and where do I order or buy.

Hi. Thanks for all your videos. I am new to drones and looking at a decent starter option for recording holiday videos such as at the beach, coastal walks, get some nice views etc. I dont need crazy distance but decent camera quality, easy gps features and okay to carry and transport about.
From your reviews the 3 that look like the options are
1. JJRC JJPRO 5x
2. Potensic D80
3. Kingtoys MJX B3
They all have good reviews and on amazon UK they are almost all identical prices with some difference about accesories e.g carry case or extra batteries.
What would you recommend please?... :)

I just ordered this for $119 from GearBest. A question...when using "follow me" or "circle me" is it following the transmitter or does it recognize the human form and follow the person? If I laid the transmitter down and walked away would it follow?

I just got a hubsan 501s x4 advanced a couple months ago for about the same price. And really love it. This looks as good. This one could be next on my want list. Really good for the price. And i agree it needs a better phone holder. Thanks for the review. 👍👍

Love everything about this drone except the charge time on the batteries. I bought the 3 battery and travel bag combo from gearbest for $170 and getting 12 minutes in the air on each battery before the second low warning kicks in so lots of flying time with that combo. Does anyone have a suggestion on a third party battery charger that will work with these batteries to reduce that LONG 5 hour charge time?
