UPDATE: Tele 80's flat out lied to me. They told me in an email that my second Jayce Collector's Box set was packaged with the two additional soundtracks I ordered thru them outside of Ulule. My additional soundtracks arrived but no second Collector's set. I am beyond upset. Have any of you had problems with Tele 80's and the Ulule soundtrack campaign?

If you were a backer of the Jayce and the Conqueror's of Light soundtrack and have received the collector's set, leave your comments about it below. I am less than thrilled with how the campaign was handled and I just want to vent about it. We know it was delayed by 3 months due to Covid. That's completely understandable. Personally, someone from Tele 80 commented on this video alerting me to the fundraiser. I was thrilled and immediately ordered two of the Collector's boxed sets. I was the fifth person to pledge towards the project according to Ulule. We were supposed to received these late September but like I mentioned before the pandemic pushed it back. As I write this, I have finally received one of the two sets that I ordered. I have sent an email to Tele80 regarding my second set. One of the three added trading cards came torn and messed up. It was shipped in a Tyvek mailer with minimal packaging support. That resulted in every single corner on the collector's box set being smashed. Also, the number is 290 of 300. Why didn't they go in order? I was the fifth person to pledge and you would think they wouldn't go backwards? Minor gripe, but c'mon.
I was also contacted outside of Ulule by members of Tele80's offering me other soundtracks, which I bought two (Mysterious Cities of Gold/Ulysses 31). Those didn't even ship with my order, which I have email from Tele80 confirming that everything would ship together. I sent them an email asking for an update on the shipping (really no word about it on the campaign page) and inquired about the additional soundtracks. I was sent a picture of my package (obviously hadn't shipped with my pledge order) and it didn't get postmarked until Dec. 15th, which was a week after I sent them my email. Tele80's is a very small operation and I congratulate them on their work, but there were several shortcomings with me.
In the end, I only received 1 of the 2 collectors sets that I paid for back in July. Delivery became New Years Eve instead of September (understandable). One of the trading cards was damaged including the corners of the boxed set. The additional soundtracks shipped separately (sitting in New York since Christmas Eve) when I was told everything would ship together. Also, fifth to pledge and received #290 of 300. Am I wrong in thinking this should've been handled much better? If you have a similar story, please share it in the comments.
Also, the guy from Tele80's that originally commented on this video notifying me about the soundtrack campaign has appeared to have deleted his comments or account. What does that tell me?

This song has no right to go as hard as it does...80s cartoon themes just hit harder the older I get lol! I was born in the mid 80s so I grew up watching VHS tapes of these shows and reruns of them on TV in the early 90s.

This and Mask's are undoubtly the BEST intro songs to any cartoon ever... I miss those intros to 80s cartoons where you had amazing tunes, they told you what the show was about and great art too

@A dudes thoughts it sure does. Except mine's pretty much full. Now, when I learn new things, it pushes old knowledge out of my head. For example, I read my phone's instruction manual last week, and forgot how to breathe. That was a tense few hours.

I never watched the show as a kid, but I did have the Saw Boss toy (still have it actually - it has a brain for a driver). I can't deny this is one of the great 80's themes. Someone put a lot of love into writing and composing this one.

Only got to see a couple episodes, but yeah I had a couple of the toys, including Saw Boss. Loved them! For some reason I still remember the toy commercial's tagline "You can stack'm 'n attack'm!!" Also had a coloring book of them that had some pretty baddass illustrations. I redrew it a lot. It's what helped make me into an Illustrator today. It's cool how you can trace important things in your life back to childhood influences.
I watched this, and I loved it.
Haim Saban and Shuki Levy provided the music for this cartoon and a lot more from the 80's ;)

This is a time when cartoons told you of what the plot is through very catchy tunes or mission-like reports like Centurions. If they brought these back, the recent entertainment world would most likely screw it up. Glad it came out in the 80s.

Rolling should have been longer but the music was cool I enjoyed it but a bit more of the song would have been great.

I'm so surprised to see that Jayce was exported outside of France! It is also surprising that the voice is exactly the same as in the french version. BTW, for full enjoyment of the music go check the original one "Jayce et les conquérants de la lumière"

They would have to be a LOT of demand and rummaging through Saban Records archives (or possibly DHX Media's ones) to have a soundtrack of this show released, same with any Levy/Saban soundtrack for that matter. (Except for the DHX Media part if a show is produced by another company). Great job though on working on this.
Saturday and Sunday morning cartoons were the best in the 80s, and the 90s better than 2000s and 2018 going on 2019.

I wasn't around in 85 but I remember reruns around 95-96, I was about 8 and just moved to a new town. TBH I thought it was tacky and watching a couple episodes on TH-cam it feels even more so now. I do like the soundtrack though, it's one of the better ones I've heard and I'm going to see if I can hunt it down for download.

If it hasn't already, this theme should go down in cartoon history as one of the most epic, exciting, blood-pounding cartoon intros in history. All I have to is listen to the first few notes, and I'm instantly ten-years-old again! God, if someone gave me an excuse, my writing talents are so good now, pounding out a twenty-first century pilot for a revival of Jayce, would almost be a labor of love.

J Williams they did write up a script for the movie that looked epic when I looked it up, it was also gonna be the ended of it to cause a few characters meet the end but sadly it wasn't as popular as a show like transformers that got a amazing movie but look it up it looked really good and I would have loved to seen it cause for me personally I preferred this show over most of the shows back then.
J. Michael Straczynski was the person who wrote the script in which you mention, but it remains unreleased. He did say this "As to an end to the story...yes, there was one. After the series was over, the head of the studio tried to sell the sponsor on the idea of an animated "Jayce" feature. I was commissioned to write it, and I think it actually came out very well...and very, very intense. Saw Boss was finally destroyed in hand-to-hand combat, Jayce comes through some truly life-changing events, we go back to the world that spawned Oon and Gillian for Jayce's training, he falls in love, someone dies...it was a heck of a story. They couldn't get it made, though, so that was the end of it, though somewhere or other I still have the script." That quote comes directly from wheelies.net.
Just as well; I can't stand him or his writing. "Babylon 5" was good until the success of it went to his head, and don't even get me started on how he wrecked Spider-Man.
