I wouldn't say he ruined his life. He definitely made it worse, but Joker met the phantom thieves, and saved the fuckin world like twice. That wouldn't have happened without shido. Then again, it wouldn't need saving without shido.
This was one of the coolest cutscenes in any game ever. Then joker comes forward and calls shido out, then you get "life will change" for the second to last time.
There is nothing more satisfying than watching Shido go ballistic at the realization you’re coming for his heart and there is *nothing* he can do to stop you.
As much as I enjoy a reason to continue playing (Yaldabaoth), part of me does wish that the game ended with Shido as the final boss. I feel it’s a much more fitting conclusion than randomly shoving in “let’s go kill god because this is an RPG”. Like the Yaldabaoth arc doesn’t come out of completely nowhere, but it’s sort of jarring in a way. I honestly think it causes Yaldabaoth to heavily overshadow Shido, which causes Shido to not be nearly remembered as being the good antagonist he is.
@@Mr__Jack I think it all happened too fast. Just incase anybody was wondering, this is who spoke which line:
(Ruji)
Yo! What is UP, everybody!
(Yusuke) We are the ones who you all know as the Phantom Thieves.
(Ryuji)And all of us are alive and kickin'. But those shitty guys in power? They've been manipulatin' information to try and hide the truth.
(Ann) So, before we appropriate our next target... We would like to first borrow your time!
(Ren or Yusuke??) The recent scandals of public figures, the accidents caused by psychotic breakdowns and mental shutdowns-These weren't caused by unknown reasons.
(Yusuke) One man is behind every single instance... simply to satiate his own greed.
(Makoto) That man was afraid his crimes would be exposed and shifted the blame on us. He even manipulated the police for that.
(Ryuji) We only steal the hearts of criminals. But this asshole tried to dump what he did on us. That just shows he doesn't care about those victims at all!
(Yusuke) The identity of that cowardly man is--
(Yusuke) The man behind it all is a current cabinet member, of all things. The Minister of State for Special Missions... Masayoshi Shido!
(Ann) Everything that guy says is a lie! And to prove that... Look! As you can see, all of us are alive and kickin'! I'm sure the people investigating us can tell if this is a lie or not. Shido himself will soon confess all the crimes that he's committed. Please look forward to it, everyone!
(Ryuji) We're not gonna sit back and watch some crook wreck this country just 'cause of his goddamn ego. Ain't that right... Leader?
(Ren) Yes. Before that happens, we will take this country!
HOLY SHIT THIS CUTSCENE WAS THE BEST
Has anyone else noticed that Shido looks a lot like Lex Luthor?
The best calling card
Putin needs to get a calling card like this publicize to the Russian people! Take his heart.
The list of politicians who could use a visit from the Phantom Thieves is a long one my friend. But you're right, he's pretty close to the top.
@@DevilSnipe420 he is the pot
Top*******
@@totallynotaferret CCP (Xi) is worse. So is the ayatollah.
So at best, he's 3rd.
The members of the Supreme Court who voted to overturn Roe V Wade should be higher on the list.

You’re welcome
To this day this cutscene was hype 🔥
Lmao I saw Shido watching it on his ipad, sticky ipad kid Shido lmao 💀
what would happened if someone killed shido and he never confesed his crime? that would be funny af 😂
Shido will crush them beneath his heel, from his vantage in the cloud district!
Just as amazing as the first time...
Wait it says 100% I didn't notice that and I have played Persona 5 a lot now.
I literally find it hard to get these confidants at rank 9 so literally only Ohya and Mishima were there :( plus my dumbass didn’t get Haru social link
I'd definitely understand that if you were on your first run of the game, especially since you needed to work on your social stats regularly in order to progress through certain ranks of your Confidants or sometimes even start them.
Thankfully, New Game+ does have whatever social stat ranks you had in your previous run carry over to the next one, among several other things. Of course, you'd still have to plan in-game days fairly carefully if you wanna max everyone out (especially Haru lol).
This is fire but how did they record the vidieo? Theyre using their suits, they only use it in the metaverse and the cameras cant be used in the metaverse. Sooo tf?
best calling card in teh game
glad joker have best nerd little sister
I wish they posted an "official" calling card somewhere that would prove the authenticity of the calling card
Them hijacking multiple broadcasts in Japan wasn’t authentic enough?
@@shyguygaming5397 Not much of a bigger Calling Card than a widespread broadcast through all of Japan, if you ask me. And considering that was being recorded by several people, and probably uploaded and viewed again and again by the world at large? Yeah, pretty official Calling Card if you ask me.
I love ❤️ the phantom thiefs larder joker
Futaba bazuka canon in action!
