Note: If you're a T-Mobile customer and purchased this device locked to T-Mobile network through OnePlus website, they will tell you OnePlus customer service should help you unlock the device. It is not true! Keep on asking for the right person to register the device to T-Mobile system so that the device could be unlocked. Again, that's ONLY if you're a T-Mobile customer and device is under T-Mobile's network. Good luck 🤞🏻

Why is removing the sim card needed? I am in the process of paying the last of my phone off to be able to keep it. I still have service with T-Mobile, but as soon as it's paid off completely, I'm switching. Would I still need to remove the sim card in order to do this?
