EXCLUSIVE: Rasta student Tyrone Marhguy talks about way forward after Achimota rejection and more

- 17-year-old, Tyrone Iras Marhguy, who has become known as the Rasta Student rejected by Achimota School, has revealed that he wanted to win the coveted, National Science and Maths Quiz for the school.
According to Tyrone, his love for Achimota started when his teacher advised him to select the school as the first choice for his Senior High School education. He didn’t know much about the school previously but started to research it, and he was impressed with what he found.
“I wanted to know everything about the school so that when someone says his/her SHS was better I would say, don’t go there because Achimota is way much better. I also watched their NSMQ performance and I was like Achimota is prestigious and could do better. I think it's been about 17 years without a trophy, they could do better and at least I could contribute greatly to that.”

Alex, this has nothing to do with the leaders. There are rules and regulations to abide by. If the school allow him, this will open doors for people to bring in silly requests. I cut my locks due to a similar issue.

He is not even ashamed showing his face in the media. Two boys and their associate has brought confusion and lawlessness in a whole country. The time that can be used for developmental work, is used for a kind of beliefs. Our water bodies and our forest has been destroyed for decades and they didn't have time to address it, till it has gone worse. But they have time to solve men who are growing hair like women. Am not concerned about that at all but concern about the confusion and lawlessness they want to perpetrate in the country. Little did I know that it's even a church and they even associate our Christ Jesus to it. Honestly Christ Jesus didn't bring confusion and lawlessness in the world? Since they mention Christ Jesus in their beliefs l perceive they use the Bible. Let them study the Bible, not only Leviticus. And even Leviticus doesn't teach misunderstanding. They must study Leviticus well. And they must be able to study the whole Bible and stop confusing our future generations. And leading people to hell.
