@@jstyles510 Mainly torqing them down to much, I had probably 300+ lbs of toque on mine when I tried to take them off 😳……..I don’t know how much more because the torque wrench I tested it on only when to 300 then I had to get a 3 foot pole on the end of a breaker bar to get them off so I don’t know how they didint just snap off form all the pressure! 🤦🏽♂️

I know both companies are still around but procharger pretty much took over as centrifugal supercharger of choice in these past years. I've got personal experience with both, and know a t-trim vortech will put a stock block fox body with a tremec easily in mid tens at stock weight! Fun combo and roll bar mandatory! However, for the big power numbers it's procharger all the way as of late. Murder nova OG is running one currently instead of twin hair driers on that particular car, if that says anything for the product. This el camino is not my style yet admire the overall quality of the build and that Paint!!! Too bad the power under the hood did not like his wheel/spacer/quite possibly stock wheel studs...what a shame! But yeah, that charger is visible in the first pics.
@Tawanda Clark buy some old nos stock USA made ones that fit or find a known racing company’s site. Known of that cheap shit from some unknown place, a world away they don’t have to pay for it when it snaps an your going 80 on a freeway.
@Tawanda Clark if you do ever go back to them I’d look up the manufacturer an see what type of lug nuts they require always better to find the right stuff specially for the safety of it. Big risk things anything to do with brakes, wheels, tires axle hubs tie rods control arms whatever keeps your 2 ton+ pile of metal on the road at high speeds I don’t cheap out on. Everything else is whatever if it works it works if it doesn’t I learned my lesson lol 😂.

It had a 400 small block with edelbrock headers, cam/heads, and carburetor. It was pretty fast. Only ran it at the track 3 times but I ran a 11.74 all in. Wish i never sold it. This car reminds me of the one I had.

My paint cost me 10k...which was really 12 because I had to spend a stack on a fender. Crunched it on a gas pump horshoe, and another stack for a new hood after not ensuring it was latched properly. Man I was sick both times.
@@KingJT80 A lot of them use adapters for a different lug pattern or make the wheels sit farther out from under the fenders and don't periodically check the tightness of the lugs on the adapters themselves. You can have the rim lugs tight as hell to the adapters but if the adapters lugs are not tight the wheels are going to fall off still mounted on the adapters.
@@grandam those were 3 pieces. They'll make them fit whatever you want he spent 6500 on rims but didn't get the longer studs for the power a procharger LS puts out. Gotta put it all the way together

@@MrGoodeats I can never ask anyone to do anything like fix me up a ride as sweet as that. People generally do things like that for people with special needs or in certain circumstances. I work and my wife works. We don't make much but we get our bills paid and keep the kid fed. God help us if her car or my car kicks the bucket. Engine lights always on and tires bald as hell. I see these nice rides on here that people fix up all nice nice and I think to myself damn lol. It would be sweet af to have something like that that don't have a million miles on it that we could trust to get us there without breaking down and maybe look cool at the same time lol
It’s just as important to upgrade what you can’t see on a car, like the trans, rear end, brakes, and suspension. Paint, rims, interior, and engine is less than half the job.

Not if you taking it to the same shop... I got my shit sprayed at one of the best shops in jville. Lifetime warranty and a specific shade of outrageous. They fkn closed down but my paint still looks good after 10 yrs. Im sick now because i dont trust anyone else to match the color. Imma need a full respray prolly
