Love twitching flies on leadcore. Do it a lot from the kayak. Unfortunately no sit on top kayaks at DVL. As Bass Raider mentioned below, twitching flies at Silverwood is really good. They stocked trout this week too! Good luck and thanks for the vid.

Joe, are you using a Shimano TR200g and did you spool it with 200 yards of 18lb leadcore?
I use a cortez 12 and i can put on 180 yards of 18lbs leadcore which is 18 colors.
What speed are you trolling and about how deep are the points/structure compared to your 40 foot trolling depth?
i go about 2mph. And the depths always changes depending on where i see the fish at.

Medium heavy 7-7.5 feet long rod and i use a cortez 12 for the reel!

No plans on fishing silver wood it’s a little far for me and it seems like silver wood stripers are a bit small!

It’s called flycore. I’m using flies as a lure and trolling that on leadcore line while stripping the line as I’m trolling it.
