Holy crap. This may just do it.
What really impresses me is that they willingly showed legit gameplay that as yet is unoptimized, culturally that's a massive thing. That is legit what has me thinking this is the game that could do it.
I've played The Sims since day one. It will always be unique in its own right. But it hasn't had a competitor in its entire 25+ years. This is the first time I've seen one and thought, okay, this is the one that should unsettle EA.
I think the sims will be always be The Sims nothing will beat it unless another visionary like Will Wright comes out, thats not happening any time soon, as much as we hate the sims 4 lack of things, its still THE SIMS, you know what I mean??? the new simulation games are cool but I dont see a lot of promising things, and the sims 5 is coming in like 5 years, it will be a little more realistic, more open world, possibly cars and whatnot
Yes absolutely
I would also love it if they added smart ai npcs that you can chat with. I think that would be so much fun. The npc wouldn't have a scripted response like games in the past but they would respond to exactly what you say to it just like an ai bot would do. That feature alone would make the game 1,000 times more fun than the sims. If you don't know what I'm talking about just youtube search the words "smart ai npc"
Please everyone request from the developers/company FIRST PERSON VIEW mode for avatar gameplay! The Sims 4 has POV mode patched in, PUBG has 1st person view toggle, so should inZOI! this sim genre is about realism and first person is more realistic than 3rd person! its essential for the genre moving forward as a standard option and feature!
Not only massively improved graphics, but even the clothes are so much more stylish than any of the Sims games.
Yes…and the issue with that is that right now they have close to none variety in their styling. It’s just young Korean fashion. I’m excited to see them bring more variety for different age groups
@@lalasecretlyThats fine lol. Its a Korean game. All it really needs to do is nail the tight mechanics
Graphics are not everything, its gameplay, user comfort, availability and smoothness that counts.
Do you consider Cyberpunk 77 the pinnacle of gaming?
@@jamie594 This game wasn't just graphics. From what we've seen, everything is customizable from clothes to buildings. You're able to create your own clothes. You're presumably able to enter nearly every building on the map and do every job in real time. Everything is seamless. There are no loading screens. You're even able to control your own character using WASD. The build mode is the best we've ever seen in any game on the market. Ngl I'm not hyped for the game because I'm not sure if it will deliver, but this demo was very impressive. Also, If it was just graphics, it wouldn't have went viral like it did.
i think if some people dress like that it's ok i just hope they don't have only Korean style. i really don't like it. I like ordinary clothes like in the sims4.
The sims went down bank from sims 3. It lost its quirky humour and became boring. It's like the old Simpsons vs the new Simpsons. This new game looks amazing though!
Excellent comparison, they're both definitely banking on nostalgia from their older viewer and familiarity towards the younger ones.
Aw man i remember the burgalars coming in and traumatizing my sim🤧 the sims 3 were the good old days
where can you get it?
@@SunTzu383 I don't think it's released yet. I'm gonna look out for it.
@@SunTzu383it said the set release day will be late 2024
South Korean games are famous for microtransactions - let’s wait and see how this game actually works out when it’s complete.
I was going to say something similar. People think EA has greedy monitization... Korea is a forefront for gacha mechanics... so prepare for a slot machine. But hope for the best.
yep, i wish they will work for years for free....
@@jonathanbaker4361 recently broken by lies of p
I know! 😂 Fuck them SK games. Black desert is the last SK game I will ever touch. Them motherfuckers are greedy. I wouldn’t be surprised if you have to pay actual money to do 99% of anything in this game. But to be fair, sims 4 is the exact same shit. Look at their endless amounts of expansions. Jesus..
Aren't most of these games with microtransactions MMOs and gachas?
I haven't seen much of that in other genres of games that came out of Korean.
This game seems like a dream come true. I have wanted a open world life simulator since playing The Sims and GTA.
I think a lot of us did. Because I did too.
huge jump from the sims to gta imo 🤣
The game is amazing but they sent out high specs computers (around 3-5 grand) to some people for reviews. So sadly this will not run on most basic high end computers- but hopefully they'll optimize it so that it can run for everyone with a decent high end computer. That's the only downside to this game, that it might not run for everyone especially those that love playing Sims.
Yes I'm worried it will be yet another game that gains hype from it's hyperrealism and they end up downgrading noticeably on launch (even on high spec devices/consoles). It feels wrong because the graphics of these games are their strongest selling point to the beginning, I wish they would advertise more realistically for the average person
I think they should make the game as realistic looking as possible since the technology is there. Make the computer manufacturers offer high end computers at lower prices to meet the graphics demands of the new games so they're affordable.
@@mchjsosde Well, their home and main market are Koreans and Koreans are serious players (regardless of genre), I doubt they will be that impacted by its specs. I, on the other hand, will be needing a new PC, lol.
I heard they may ending up running the game through gaming servers. If they do, I’m sure it will be saturated with micro-transactions as well.
It's on unreal 5, so it will be very optimized, Here are the minimum system requirements for inZOI:
Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Processor: Intel Core i5-6400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580 for me it sounds like it can run on a 900 bucks computer
Y’all gotta stop introducing new unfinished life simulators with the tagline “THE SIMS IS DONE FOR - IT’S DEADDD. MOVE OVER EA” 💀 It’s starting to feel like we keep jinxing all of them lol
ikr I thought it was finished
To be fair the bar is extremely low so they're kinda right. Especially with so many of them coming out now the sheer number of them bodes badly for Sims.
@@starburst740 Still kinda crazy that they said end of 2024. Only 2 years development? That's a crazy fast pace.
@@mchjsosdemost of the people that play the sims will not be able to run it. Most simmers do not have a gaming laptop. I know this to be true just based on the sims communities I visit.
The only way I see this working is if they run it on servers and even then I’m sure it will be riddled with micro-transactions.
@@JuneTheFayone year from what I heard which is too weird 🤔
It's nice that EA has lots of competitors so they can step up their game. Game looks amazing, and I love the AI feature, but maybe my PC can't run this smoothly
Ea will never ever give a hoot about making things better, madden is the perfect example the game is constantly terrible but people keep buying it in record numbers
Thing is, with EA, if there's competition they can't buy or sue the hell out of, they just close the developers office. Remember SimCity?
EA stepping up their game is a hilarious thought, thank you for that.
@@DGTelevsionNetwork I remember Sims city. They could have done a better job and kept it going. I think that game would’ve been awesome if they just would’ve tweaked it better and fix the bugs.
That's why Sims looks like shit, so your potatos can run it. Also no way bitches actually like gen slop
I’m all down for the diversity but at this stage…it’s clearly made in Korea, set in Korea & thus a lot of the models used to make these sims will be Korean, be they stereotypical Korean or Korean mix. It’ll be interesting to see who/which/when other diverse models are incorporated but so far I’m impressed. It looks beautiful.
Wouldn't mind them just starting with Korea (what they know) and then expanding to other cities and countries and deeper into other ethnicities later if it means the game can grow
my thoughts, we fought so long just for more representation for years in the sims and finally started getting it, this game as good as it looks will not beat the sims only focusing on one part of the world.
well, you have enough with the world adapting to english so tolerate korean ethnic and themes, ok?
if people want representation, they can do their own VG and put the "diversity" they want.
@@cheesecake4648 nobody's complaining tho? customization has shown us you can put any type of race in the game (though im guessing there will be even more variety in the future), and there's also different cities, so if you go to Dowon (Seoul of the game) you will, obviously, find a korean majority with korean customs, but if you go to Bliss Bay (Los Angeles of the game) you're obviously gonna see a white majority with a more western culture... it's pretty obvious. if you don't like koreans, then simply don't go to Dowon, and that's it.
Bro, you think I’m having a dig at it being heavily Korean based? Absolutely not…if you watch the video you’ll understand my response. People are saying “it’s not diverse enough” but as I said…at this stage with it being made in Korea they’re gonna be using Korean models for their character bases. I absolutely don’t have an issue with it, I’ve never made a character that looked like me and I’m an old school heavy gamer…I just make one I think fits the gender and environment . @@cheesecake4648
This looks amazing! I do hope it actually comes to fruition, and they finish it. Fingers crossed they optimise it, and it's accessible to us normal people! They need to add pets! Cat mum for life.
Hopefully, knowing Korea and its high competitivity/effectivity cycle at workspace I have high hopes with this project
What do you mean by normal people? 😅 is it only available for pc gamers?
@@flordelbosque5671this game isn't one that going to run on the average sims players craptop. You are going to need at the very least a midrange or gaming computer to even run this game at a decent frame rate with mid teir graphics quality.
@@datekaname2246Also language translation
And an "American" version.
This looks amazing! I'll be watching for more on this one. I got bored with The Sims after about Sims 3, and how it went SO "commercialized". You buy the base game, then if you really want to do anything that isn't boring, you have to buy an add-on, but then if you want someplace cool to live you have to buy something else, then if you want cute clothes you have to buy something else, then you want pets so you have to buy something else... I just got sick of it. I really hope they don't do that with this game.
That seems to be every game these days. I miss the Playstation 1 and 2 days back in the 90's and early 2000's. No add-ons and no in-game purchases. It seems that now they release a standard free base game and then anything else you want has to be purchased. Evil bastards.
I messed around with Sims and Sims 2 (always hated feeling like the game was "incomplete" for the expansions I didn't own though, and hated how expensive each expansion always was) but I didn't keep up with the Sims games at all beyond that. I don't know, the way I see it each +1 in the numbering was mostly just a chance for them to start the expansion dance all over again. Milk the customers as much as they're willing to let themselves be milked, and them trick them into another round of milking.
This is a Korean game. Guarantee it'll have them. Maybe even more.
Im so sick of people thinking a game with polished and realistic graphics is the answer to everything wrong with the Sims 4. Go back and play the Sims 2 and you'll understand that GRAPHICS arent what make a game fun.
It's just easy for reviewers to say, the people don't really agree
Usually these types of games taylor to the Kpop fans which are younger kids who would fall for graphics briefly
Yeah this might be interesting but it doesn't look like a Sims replacement.
Speak for yourself. I love great graphics. Finally we have video game characters that are super attractive to look at and it certainly gives a dopamine high to look at attractive people.
The fact that they showed a low framerate gives me faith its real
The Sims hold a monopoly on life sims, but their are multiple new ones in development. I don’t think the new games will be the death of the Sims. They’re already developing a new game, and I think the competition will be good for them. I think each game will offer something unique
It will be the end of the sims if they dont step their cookie up. Players have a finite amount of time to dedicate to playing games and if the sims is not up to scratch it will die, popularity will fall real quick.
As it stands, sims 4 just isnt good enough, it will be a 10 year old, lack luster, converted mobile game trying to compete with next gen open world games.
The thing about it though is, EA knows they're running the risk of losing their top spot to any of these games being developed. It's happened with Sim City with City Skylines and can definitely happen to The Sims as well. Sure these games can all offer an unique experience of their own. But that's all it takes really. Any of these games could come with a much BETTER experience than what we currently have with EA. And just like that you lose your reigning spot on the totem pole.
The Sims is so stale at this point. They've only gotten away with releasing such broken, overpriced crap because there's no other options. Like you say, competition will be good, I hope it encourages EA to do better for their fans.
@@ladylush7931It won't be the end of Sims as long as nobody with a similar cartoony style comes in. The style and silliness has been part of the charm of the Sims series, it's something I find lacking in Life By You and this one. I have no interest in hyperrealism. Paralives is closer to it, but the style is a little flat so might not be everyone's jam. I do welcome more sims-like games regardless, hopefully puts some pressure on EA to step up their game.
@ladylush7931 LBY and this game need monster pcs to run them. The majority of sim players are casual gamers with low-end machines, unless another life sim with low end specs come in The Sims is not going anywhere
"things don't always go the way that you plan" as the messsage of this game is what is needed tbh. That was what ts4 needed instead of making it that easy
well... since they give you a option to rewind time to resurrect characters, it seems to me, that those are just words lol
@@WastedTalent83 My thoughts as well on that claim... Unless there's some game mechanic that throws random alterations into the timeline after each rewind attempt, perhaps? You rewind it thinking "oh, if I do X I can avoid that" and then maybe whatever change the game sneaks in might reduce the effectiveness of whatever you do differently and something bad still happens anyway.
@@MuljoStpho i think that would be an extremely hard thing to program but it would be cool nonetheless
but at the same time it gives you time powers to revive people and everyone looks like they just got out of the korean beauty industry factory lol
Freedom of choice is always a good thing, if people think that resurrecting characters make the game too easy, just don't do it? But some people just wanna play a chill life sim & and not die mid-playthrough, so I can respect that. Besides we are playing as a god after all, we should have the power to do anything we choose lol.
I’m going to lean more towards Life By You- it is just geared towards what I want in a game so far. Definitely will have to keep an eye on this and Paralives. I am worried if there will be a sort of micro transaction system or gacha. I’m worried about a full release in 2024? Lots of little worries but I hope this game will dash them all away.
Are you still leaning towards life by you with the information you have today?😂
I'm most interested in Paralives. The realism reminds me of my sister's grungy 3rd person action games (Watch Dogs for some reason came to mind when I first saw the inZOI trailer). I'm not a fan, it just seems too dark, not in appearance, but just in feeling. I like how playful and light Paralives looks. inZOI just feels so heavy and serious. I'm not looking forward to that or Life by You for that reason.
I completely agree I like the playful look much better wishing ea would somehow make a huge update to sims 4 and it be what we all wanted from the start when all these newer games come out since they clam they will run sims 5 along side sims 4
I'd actually try both Paralives and inZOI once I have a chance, they're both interesting
I've been watching paralives for a long time now and I'm very impressed with the devs and the game. I've never heard of inZOI or Life by You but I will certainly check them out a bit more. Based on what I've seen so far about inZOI it's not really giving me anything to be excited about but it looks pretty. I guess it's not targeted towards the same fanbase as the sims? It just seems like it wouldn't run well enough on most peoples computers.
That's another, I'd be afraid my computer would crash if I didn't do an upgrade for RAM 😆@@valderon3692
I saw that special interactions have animated sequences which makes me happy cause it reminds me of sims 2
I can't see this replacing the sims, but it looks like one helluva k-drama simulator!
I've always wanted a game that is a nice mix between the macro of big city builders, and the micro of "The sims" sort of games. Something like this, or maybe "Life By You" will bring some of that aspiration to life. Looks incredible!
Ive played the sims since 2000 and after seeing this...Im hooked I can not wait for this to be available to play OMG the graphics, backgrounds, the avatars look so realistic this is just amazing over all Im very impressed and love this!
I love games like this, but the problem with these types of games is, in order for me to play them I would have to make it my job! They're so involved and there's so much to do and look at and try to experience I would have to start my own youtube channel simply to justify playing something so involved.😄😂
i love sims its so classic, how goofy it looks is great for sure, but this looks AWESOME! i can see people enjoying both. this will definitely be saved for my more modern/realistic stuff. will stick to sims when im in the mood for goofy.
Caption says "the sims is over" and I was like "so is your old laptop/pc" 😂
wow. That looks amazing! But I really have some "trust issues" 😅 when I see the graphic and everything you can change im afraid of lots of bugs and freezing. Since Sims wasn't always doing that well and pretty the only Life Sim, its the only experience I have so Im really afraid paying for something looking so good and then also be frustrated/disappointed.
But we'll see. Im also looking forward Paralives and Life by you seems to be interesting as well.
Not only that, I also feel that this comes much closer to the uncanny valley. I think I prefer a more stylised/simplified look until the valley 's been crossed!
I can smell smoke soming out of my PC but excited nonetheless
hoping to keep tabs on this so I can get it on release in the USA. But I doubt it will come out anytime these next few years if their only this far in on promos.
I'd like to know more about the Ai tool. I want to make sure it's not pulling from datasets that are used unethically
Its about time someone put Sims in its place. The fact they're not afraid to show lag in the trailer is already a big step up.
Your overview and breakdown was top level. The developers definitely gathered a massive crowd with the gameplay trailer and I’m hopeful that they’ll deliver on some in-depth gameplay mechanics as well. I’m super excited.
Sims 5 better step their game up!
They will..relax..they are. ;)
If its not open world its over, no reason to buy it again if you have packs from 4 already
Hey, even if my character was stuck as a Korean, who cares? It's the environment and gameplay I want!
You will soon tire of being only Korean....soon.
There will be western and other countries style people too. There already is. And they are building an LA, USA inspired world - they won't populate that with only Asian look people.
@@SimlikeitHot Lmao. But will there be kimchi?
I can already tell I'd need a whole new gaming computer to play this. Looks amazing, though.
I'm actually speechless. This looks amazing!
I might try it but other than the cat overlord story, nothing shown looked much different than the Sims. Basically putting back and improving the customization that was removed after Sims3 and updated graphics. Maybe there will be a story mode. Good video though!
I think this one just leaped to the front of the line for me. 😍
I hope I can play it without high end pc, on my laptop and since its still in developing I'm hoping they add emotions and depth to the inzois. Really looking forward to this 👏🏼
The laptop they sent costed 3000$. Good luck

This looks amazing!! I never even bought the sims 4, after buying 1.2 and3, because EA started getting way too greedy - taking more and more out of the base game only the hide it behind a paywall labeled expansion packs or stuff packs etc etc. I was over it. I’m definitely going to be checking this game out though. I’m excited!!
I love this. As a fan of SKorea I hope we get taught differences in lifestyles too. Like I wish we had built in fish grills in kitchens like they do. Stuff like that
That’s a neat idea. I saw in a different video someone opening their fridge and having food options like bibimbap and kimchi.
The Sims 2 and 3 will always have a special place in my heart and for me personally, they will always be the best life sim game, ESPECIALLY The Sims 2. But if you ask me if it will ever beat The Sims 4. HELL YEAH!
I'm in the same boat though Sims 3 is the one for me.
I wonder if you'll get to do crazy stuff in it. Like alter the size of specific people (shrinking and growing) or make ém fly into the distance by grabbing and throwing the characters...
I’m so glad all these alternatives to the sims are coming out. Competition is well overdue
I am super excited for inZOI can't wait to play it and I can't even imagine the mods community on this .....graphics of this game is a 10/10 for me, characters and customization features are great.....just imagine the final release ❤❤❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥
The AI integration is such an incredible asset for customisation!!
As long as it isn't as heavy on the absmal microtransactions like the sims it, seems like it'll be pretty fun and it looks nice too
Im so excited for inzoi! The only advantage teh sims has now is it's dedicated fanbase, modders, and lore. Also hope inzoi has plans for packs like supernatural or something like that
This actually looks more interesting than Paralives to me. This is actually the first I've heard of this one, will follow it closely now. Can't wait to hear more about a release date.
Take my moneeeeeeeeeey!! Heck, this popped up on my feed today and holy moly i cant want to hear more or this games progress!
I am excited for some alternatives to The Sims! This one looks great so far and I hope it is able to deliver!
Imagine having a VR component in the game where you can interact with the characters you created... that would be amazing!
The bigger question is... is it just as good as The Sims 2?
In term of graphic, obviously yes but in term of gameplay, probably no.
How can you say that you can do a lot stuff in this game already never do sims 2
Looking forward to INZOI the most out of all the other life sim games coming out rn
I want to play this so much!! It looks beautiful and I can't wait
Ya need much, much more that pretty visuals and "realistic" graphics paired with a "wish list" of desired features to dethrone The Sims. They need to come with an actual product that exceeds gameplay and the features that they Sims already has. I do not doubt it is possible, but will they actually follow through at meet expectations on the gameplay side?
That's what lovers' lab is for
the title is very delusional 😂
I hate EA, but I don’t think this game will “beat” the sims and here’s why:
For one, the average simmer is not playing life simulations on a gaming laptop. The people who reviewed this game were sent beefed up laptops for the demo (and they actually got to keep the laptop which is really sus). From what I’ve read so far, these are laptops with i9 processors, 64gb of RAM - didn’t find out what else, but those are a couple of important specs for a PC. It’s very telling.
Secondly, I’ve also heard this game may possible be ran through game servers. Which in itself is insidiously problematic because if they decide to go this route it’s probably going to have tons of mircrotransactions.
Thirdly, you will not be able to build and there will be no cars. Aside from the eye popping aesthetics I’d be willing to bet that this INZOI is just as hollow as the sims 4, just prettier. I’m putting my money on LBY and Paralives.
they dont say: cars are not coming and you can build for now only residental lots, but the game is not finish...why must a game beat the other, you can play several games of the same type, right?😉
How is Sims just as hollow, when it offers more than stated above? No builds? No cars? And you have gaul to equate the two?
I completely agree. I am excited to see some competition and I’ve been waiting for this for a long time. I am so happy that its with South Korean designers because they do gorgeous work that I love.
omggg. im an avid sims player, but many of us know in order to have a fun experience we have to download mods and custom content for character customization/furniture. That being said, not only do the customization and builds in Zoi look amazing, but its an OPEN world???? Im so excited😭
looks great. you sold me
If this is actual gameplay then this is very impressive. I'll keep an eye. Thanks for the info.
Is the weather dynamic as well? I dont want to just controll rain , i would like for this to be the game itself in control

GTX 4090 yes...
I like the look of this. Been playing The Sims on and off. But more off lately since the very first edition of the game. This InZoi looks like it could get me back into playing on a more regular basis. At least for as long as it lasts with me as I tend to play a lot of different genres of game.
OMG i hope we get that city, that city is huge, and hopefully the buildings are all functional even the game take up to 500GB or 1 TB that is fine....
I like the look of paralives more than the graphics styles of any of the other new ones. I prefer the cartoony style of Sims 4, but since I'm solely a builder in it I want that side of any game to be strong and aesthetic
You can’t build in this one, and you won’t be able to drive the cars either.
idk how to describe it, but paralives feels very "made from scratch and baked with lots of love," and it's got the indie vibe
it just has a different vibe from games like this.
This looks amazing! I hope it delivers. Seems to have actual mean people. So finally we can have people act realistic.
I wish you had linked the video of the interview with the creator you mentioned at the beginning
I love how you are just mad about games ❤
Playing these long games is just impossible for me since i don't have time
But watching you play all the game i like is just heart warming
Love you man❤
I'm already hyped for the modding community for this game
we boutta go wild with it lol
While I do think the graphics in this game looks amazing, hyperrealism feels a bit uncanny to me. I get easily attached to characters and watching them die in a realistic style.. I don't know how I'm gonna feel about it 👀 And the cartoonish style Sims offers allow for more wiggle room in terms of playfulness towards the unordinary aka supernatural events etc. But I am very pleased that EA are getting some competition. Let's hope it turns out great! I love simulation games in general ^^
What kind of controls are they using? Mouse pointer like the sims or is it like keyboard controls (wsad) or arrow keys or controller?
2:03 My question is can we still take away the ladder while the character is in the pool.
Pixelia looks like a fun game. It's like stardew and the sims mixed.
The sims has so much lore and its one of the easiest games to mod. It's also deep into the whole adult modding with Wicked Whims.
They're characters are a huge reason simmers would stay.
Modders are players. If this game supports modding, I can already imagine wicked whims in this game and other modded content
I can't wait for all of them. They need to include more disabled characters such as people in Wheelchairs, blind people, etc.
Maybe dlc?
No.
Thank you!! I hope everyone from all over the world will be able to play this new game 👏
I can't wait for high fantasy medieval games to have graphics like this.
Imagine MMOs with the hyper-realistic forests while having fantasy flowers and landscapes.
still a childhood dream
@@rezwan_edit Only skyrim+mods comes close, here's hoping the creators of No Man's Sky can do it though.
it looks okay but every person has to be asian? sims 4 has diversity and decades of packs, ideas, money and support behind it. it's fine for there to be similar games but nothing will be able to actually replace the sims.
Realism has nothing to do with why I like the sims, in fact I think moving towards realism is part of the problem. In a game like inzoi it would feel really off-putting to have over the top cartoon violence or alien abductions or tragic clowns but that kind of wackiness is what made the sims fun originally. So this game looks quite boring to me. In fact the graphics are the only thing different about it so far (and the god storyline which is okay I guess but it feels limiting to the kinds of stories the player may want to create) otherwise it basically seems to have most of the same gameplay options but probably with less wackiness. And I find these character models to be unnerving.
Will keep and eye out for this.
I hope the game can be modded. Not needed right away, but I love modding the Sims, and I feel like if this game doesn't allow mods I might get bored and eventually go back to modded Sims. But that's just how I feel right now. The base game could and hopefully will be good enough to keep me comin back.
I was excited about it when I first saw it, but my skepticism is growing with every video. I think people are too easily fooled by pretty graphics and going "game pretty, game good!". It honestly, from what I have seen, looks like itll be a snooze fest after 1 hour of gameplay. It's still in early development so idk we will see, but it would be in everyones best interest not to be too excited. You briefly mentioned the issue of diversity and yes I think that is a huge issue too IF they wanna market to the same demographic that enjoys sims 4. Imo if they wanna "beat the sims" theyd be wise to have all the features the audience begged for years for (pronouns, stretch marks, scars, braces, hearing aids and other healthcare items) on release!! The fact they werent included in the ad material or trailers is suspicious to me. I also think "well look they have a ton of skintones" does not cut it lmao. The sims has a ton of skintones, and cultural items, and different hair textures. I'm just sayin...looks like all they have invested their time into IS the character creation portion cause everything else looks mostly bland and incomplete, and again looks like theyre just depending on the "character pretty, game good!" mindset a lot of those without critical thinking will have. :/
Furthermore, I find it rather ironic that those who say that The Sims4 is just a 'pretty dollhouse with pretty dolls' give nothing but praise to this 'pretty dollhouse with pretty dolls'.....
@@SimlikeitHot oh sorry I misunderstood your comment. Yes so true. 😭😭 I feel like it's lowkey gotta just be the homophobes that think Sims is "too woke".
It has a MASSIVE more skin and hair etc options than The Sims 4 had when it first came out. It's early access. They haven't build the USA inspired world yet. Give them time.
@@fransmith3255 uh u may be surprised by this but gay, deaf, disabled, and people with scars and acne also exist in Korea 😳
@@StarryNightxx 😲No kidding. Thanks for the tip. Your knowledge is astounding. Who would have thought... 🤣🤣
Seriously, I've lived in Korea for over 5 years now. I'm fairly sure that I've very aware of exactly what people look like here... Since you are espousing such amazing unique knowledge about Korea, have you ever actually been here?
What I'm referring to is that the game is in an alpha state - an early state in development. If you don't know what "alpha development state" is, look it up. They have built the Korean inspired city and people to live in to as a bare bones selection for the purposes of early play-testing, which is very common in game development. They are sure to add more. They haven't even built the American or European city yet. When they do, they are very likely to add a lot more variety of hairstyles and features for character creation that will depict people of other cultures more completely.
The Sims 4 only fairly recently added a lot more skin tones and hairs etc. Did you play it on release? IIRC The Sims 4 released with something like 8 hair styles for each sex and only a tiny fraction of the skin tones it now has.
And as for scars and imperfections, The Sims 4 only just got those added to the base game fairly recently - almost 10 years after the base game was released.
You're expectations are ridiculously over the top. This game is in ALPHA - it's not even close to release. Those things are going to be a fairly low priority at the minute. There are already massively more options in this game at it's early alpha state than there ever was in The Sims 4 at it's release state. Make sure that your expectations for this game matches the release state of the other game you're negatively comparing it to. It's character creator is already ridiculously better than The Sims 4 was on release. Give them time to at least finish the game before you start winging about a lot of this stuff.
Many sims players are extremely entitled and demanding, they will probably swarm this company and come with their endless demands as they did (and are still doing) with Paralives and LBY. Let these developers do their thing. 😩
Are you suprised? The sims was awful, theyve been in a financially abusive relationship with EA and they have boundaries for new relationships now 😂
Right let them continue copying Sims...
Ikr
On which platforms will this be when it eventually releases? Hope it's not just pc.
I remember clips about the sims that were ujust skits about a hyper-realistic game and where the sims is going... and now its real. IM EXCITED AND IM VERY SCARED
The use of AI is deeply depressing.
It’s 2024 time evolves….

How would you think this compares to another Sims contender "Life by You" by Paradox? I've been following that game and see a lot of similar ideas as shown in here as well including driving vehicle and skateboards.
im super exited for this game actully but its probebly years away
As for diverstiy, what i am not seeing is diversity of body types. So far i've only seen very slim people who tbh all look fairly similar to each other. I am hoping for more there
TBH we play video games as an escape. If don’t want the character I’m playing to be as fat and unattractive as I am.
@@ThisUserPassedAwaythat’s you tho. The game should cater to different players. Some gamers might like playing with fat characters, others slim but having options is good. So players can pick what they prefer.
@@ThisUserPassedAwaythen it wont compete with the sims
It's not set in America, sorry!
nope, this will never beat the Sims.. maybe Paralives will be a good competitor to the sims but never these new "too realistic" games, no one's computer will handle the huge reqs
Any mention of mods? I'll be keeping an eye on libers lab for sure!
I think the trailer having low fps is a good thing because it means THAT is what the final product may look like unless you lower the graphics, it's not just a 3d render with added visiuals to make it look like a game when in reality its just an animation. Idk if its just a mobile thing but i've seen so many instances where the trailer looks hd but the game ends up looking like crap because apparently the trailer was just a concept on what the game could look like
I like it when companies like EA gets punched in the guts after so long doing monopoly on certain genre, if EA don't adapt then the Sims will be like simcity, it gets knocked out and finish
This was a very stupid comment.
Sim will be just fine.
Diversity has nothing to do with ‘dark skin’. Out of those characters that were shown absolutely none of them embodies a black person. Im doubtful that they do a good job with that side of thing.
Typical south Korean/ Chinese game. They have insane beauty standards there, so we shouldn't expect diversity (sadly). All the characters already look the same
Wah wah wah, your people are violent and destructive and seem to like complaining on the internet despite being pandered to constantly by the West.
Wah wah wah. If Koreans only wanted their own in their game, they should of never marketed it out of Asia. They aren't the only ones on the world.
Remember how awesome Sims games became after adding mods?
Now imagine THIS game with mods. I seriously can't wait to try this out.
I'm surprised INZOI didn't have a YT channel up before they sent out demo games to beta testers. I guess they didn't want to hear from the general public.
I understand that if you want to play this game, you've got to have a TOP end gaming PC.
does anyone think that you can date the same gender? since its korean i don't think it will be that way.
If there isn't any planned then people will probably make a mod for it

They showed a gay couple in the trailer so it will be part of the game
@@nernguan1210 yeah okay
