Agree with most of those except the friend part. For me, it's a red flag if a person always needs other people to 'entertain' them. Stay away from passive aggressive girls. I talked to the girl and since my day is truly busy (not faking) whenever she would call I would text back and tell her I'd call back later and I did. She would never answer that same day but would call me back days or weeks later and this happened 2-3 times. What I realized is that she was punishing me for not answering when she wanted me to so she was basically saying I'd lose her if i didnt behave the way she wanted me to. The no friends one makes sense, but there are ppl out there who appear as social butterflies, but have little to no friends. I have just one friend. I appear to know everyone and talk to everyone, but I don't have alot of friends because it's not easy to connect with ppl. It's easy to chat with anyone any day, but to really connect with someone in a meaningful and fufilling way is difficult. There are so many ppl in the world. It's hard to create platonic friendships or find love.

After a traumatic relationship more than a decade ago, the relationships I’ve had were mostly superficial. I sought after physical and superficial qualities knowing it won’t last. Fixed all the issue both body and mind, and realized I need a lasting relationship. Same here, originally I thought she was happy for me but whether it was lack of communication she just seemed to become resentful. While it is possible for a woman to too much of a loner, I have often run into the other extreme - a girl who can’t do anything alone and constantly has to be around others. The first sign of this is often in online dating profiles where every photo is a group photo. Girls like this can be needy and skeptical of introverted guys. Eventually the guy finds he can’t get her alone much because her friends always have to tag along. Also this probably means she won’t accept anything less than a big expensive wedding down the line.

I wouldn't necessarily list points 5 (she has friends) and 6 (she's interdependent) as green flags, though they might be for some people. Personally, I prefer a fusional type of love where the two partners are sufficient to each other. The independent type is definitely not an option for people like me and the interdependent type might be acceptable, but certainly isn't ideal.

The biggest issue here: Where do you find them? Generally you hear "look at a library, look at a gym, look at a club you are in, volunteer somewhere, church, ect." I dont think a single woman I have met in my entire life, would feel comfortable being approached in any of those places. You rely on friends of friends to introduce you, or you go your own way. Pretty much end of story.
Just throwing an idea out there, why don't you focus less on going to these places to meet the women, and instead think about who may already be there at the stuff you're already interested in who are dateable? I find that when you do new things angling to meet people it's like they can smell it, you come off desperate for friends/girlfriends. Instead, if you're already involved in the activity and already on good terms with a woman in the group, it's easier to try taking it further. You're less suspicious, and it's a natural progression. It's good to be supportive and have a woman that doesn't expect you to do everything but if she has to keep you on track she's going to lose attraction for you. definitely. my younger sister is 18 and has no friends. people have always thought she was rude/anti social but she literally suffers with a lot of social anxiety and other issues. she is extremely introverted. she used to have one really close friend but that girl ended their friendship bc she didn't like that she was quiet and distant. the girl made it all about her and said my sister was too selfish to even communicate like a normal person, apparently my sister didn't "care" for her. but my sister would always tell me she was so happy she found a friend. I feel so bad. I just think she needs to be surrounded by more understanding people and all will be good.

Social anxiety and things like that are pretty serious mental health challenges that you'll have to cope with if you date someone with them. Even girls with personality disorders have friends. And sometimes those friends can be toxic and even turn her against you, creating trouble in the relationship. I’d say another green flag (probably not one that would make you say she’s the one just by itself, but combined with other green flags) is financial intelligence. I’m not saying she knows how to trade, and buy and sell crypto currency, but she knows how to manage her money for the most part. Good video! I think manipulation and games are far too common and easy to do in todays society, especially with all social media. It makes me sick to the core. About 40 years ago I had learn most of this stuff the hard way. In particular, "If that's what turns her on, he is welcome to her." For 38 years, she has not had to work outside the home. Proverbs 31:10, "Who can find a good woman, for her value is above Rubies."
She actually comes and takes care of you when your sick and she makes absolutely no fuss about it. I remember when I was in U.S. Navy stationed in Yokosuka Japan, I had met this Japanese girl and started dating. Sometime later I caught Chicken Pox as I had never caught it when I was younger. Was away from base and was absolutely floored feeling bad, so she took me to weekend doctor. She later rode the train with me on her time off from work back to the Navy base so I could go to the Navy Hospital, she stayed. I had to be temporary isolated from the ship for about three weeks at least I think it was on base at a barracks. This Japanese girl came from Tokyo every single day for that entire three weeks which was about 1.5 hr trip each way to the base barracks while I was in isolation just to bring me food and make sure I ate and was ok. Every single day! She never fussed in any way about it. Even when I told her she didn’t have to come or bring me food, she willingly did it anyway. She was selflessness in qualities of a woman. That isn’t something you find much at all in the modern woman and a super rare quality today. I knew she was a keeper! We remained together for the entire next 5 years I was stationed in Japan till I had to be discharged from the Navy and return stateside. But she was a very special woman in qualities. What you want to avoid is the type of women who are constantly using social media and posting daily butt selfies, bikini pics, overly filtered glamour shots, and putting stupid ass captions to go along with it. Stay away from passive aggressive girls. I talked to the girl and since my day is truly busy (not faking) whenever she would call I would text back and tell her I'd call back later and I did. She would never answer that same day but would call me back days or weeks later and this happened 2-3 times. What I realized is that she was punishing me for not answering when she wanted me to so she was basically saying I'd lose her if i didnt behave the way she wanted me to. The no friends one makes sense, but there are ppl out there who appear as social butterflies, but have little to no friends. I have just one friend. I appear to know everyone and talk to everyone, but I don't have alot of friends because it's not easy to connect with ppl. It's easy to chat with anyone any day, but to really connect with someone in a meaningful and fufilling way is difficult. There are so many ppl in the world. It's hard to create platonic friendships or find love.

After a traumatic relationship more than a decade ago, the relationships I’ve had were mostly superficial. I sought after physical and superficial qualities knowing it won’t last. Fixed all the issue both body and mind, and realized I need a lasting relationship. Met this girl I noticed her face and looks first but as I talked to her it’s her personal qualities and maturity (so far) that is her biggest seller. While it is possible for a woman to too much of a loner, I have often run into the other extreme - a girl who can’t do anything alone and constantly has to be around others. The first sign of this is often in online dating profiles where every photo is a group photo. Girls like this can be needy and skeptical of introverted guys. Eventually the guy finds he can’t get her alone much because her friends always have to tag along. Also this probably means she won’t accept anything less than a big expensive wedding down the line.

I wouldn't necessarily list points 5 (she has friends) and 6 (she's interdependent) as green flags, though they might be for some people. Personally, I prefer a fusional type of love where the two partners are sufficient to each other. The independent type is definitely not an option for people like me and the interdependent type might be acceptable, but certainly isn't ideal.

The biggest issue here: Where do you find them? Generally you hear "look at a library, look at a gym, look at a club you are in, volunteer somewhere, church, ect."
I dont think a single woman I have met in my entire life, would feel comfortable being approached in any of those places. You rely on friends of friends to introduce you, or you go your own way. Pretty much end of story.
Just throwing an idea out there, why don't you focus less on going to these places to meet the women, and instead think about who may already be there at the stuff you're already interested in who are dateable? I find that when you do new things angling to meet people it's like they can smell it, you come off desperate for friends/girlfriends. Confident women that are friendly are extremely hard to come by these days. Most women I pass by just immediately stare at the floor and avoid all eye contact with me like they're scared of me, and the actual confident women are all the weekend party girls that are straight up walking red flags.

Great list Courtney. I would caution on the supportive one though. It's good to be supportive and have a woman that doesn't expect you to do everything but if she has to keep you on track she's going to lose attraction for you. Women want a guy that's a leader and takes charge and shows initiative. If she's constantly having to prod him then it's not going to go well for either of you.
I can't reiterate enough how important communication skills are. You are 100% correct on this, yet many people (men and women) lack good communication skills. That said, if she's open to learning and can take instruction and constructive criticism then anyone can learn good communication skills.

definitely. my younger sister is 18 and has no friends. people have always thought she was rude/anti social but she literally suffers with a lot of social anxiety and other issues. she is extremely introverted. she used to have one really close friend but that girl ended their friendship bc she didn't like that she was quiet and distant. the girl made it all about her and said my sister was too selfish to even communicate like a normal person, apparently my sister didn't "care" for her. but my sister would always tell me she was so happy she found a friend. I feel so bad. I just think she needs to be surrounded by more understanding people and all will be good.
I mean, even a high degree of introversion can be considered a red flag. Social anxiety and things like that are pretty serious mental health challenges that you'll have to cope with if you date someone with them. Nobody's perfect, but it's something you have to take a look at and consider when you plan to date. And it's definitely something that needs to be talked about

I pretty much agree with you that most of these are green flags and do indicate the kind of girl you should want to date. However, #5 is a bit questionable. Even girls with personality disorders have friends. And sometimes those friends can be toxic and even turn her against you, creating trouble in the relationship. Or they can even encourage her to cheat on you. I would say a better green flag might be, "has friends with good morals." #7, Interdependent I agree with, with qualifications. Yes, she should have a life outside of you, but not to the point that she does not make you a priority.
I’d say another green flag (probably not one that would make you say she’s the one just by itself, but combined with other green flags) is financial intelligence. I’m not saying she knows how to trade, and buy and sell crypto currency, but she knows how to manage her money for the most part. I believe it’s very important for long term relationships specially when you’re thinking of living together and such. Not everyone knows how to manage money, so even a girl who is open to learn about it along with you, that’s one intelligent woman

Women that special are uplifting but challenging because someone similar wants to reflect that light and so I hold myself to a much higher standard since I have met her. If only life was simple. I'm pretty much convinced at this point in my life that I'll never meet someone again. Ten years single with no one interested in that entire time has solidified that fact in my mind.
A few apply to a gal that I have been interested in lately. One, she earned 3 degrees. Another is that she is working towards occupational licensing. Third is interning to prepare for career opportunities. Fourth is being thankful when I have sent her a birthday, Christmas & congratulations card for earning her Master's degree. Fifth is liking positive comments on her Facebook, Instagram posts. I don't even remember the last time we had met in person but these all seem to be very positive signs. We went to the same community college but never were in the same classes or in school clubs. She used to attend baseball games at school. It is time for us to date very soon!

So... After a 4.5 year relationship (last month of 8th grade to first semester university) with a girl waving all corresponding red flags, I could say you have nailed the list. Guys, I know that, more or less, we all listen to Courtney's advices, but these should be your doctrine for life.
Good video! I think manipulation and games are far too common and easy to do in todays society, especially with all social media. It makes me sick to the core. For me, there is nothing more attractive than a woman who communicates well and who is mature in her way of being. It shows a lot of confidence and you actually get to know who you are dating. I also think these points go to men as well :)
About 40 years ago I had learn most of this stuff the hard way. In particular, "If that's what turns her on, he is welcome to her." For 38 years, she has not had to work outside the home. Proverbs 31:10, "Who can find a good woman, for her value is above Rubies."
She actually comes and takes care of you when your sick and she makes absolutely no fuss about it. I remember when I was in U.S. Navy stationed in Yokosuka Japan, I had met this Japanese girl and started dating. Sometime later I caught Chicken Pox as I had never caught it when I was younger. Was away from base and was absolutely floored feeling bad, so she took me to weekend doctor. She later rode the train with me on her time off from work back to the Navy base so I could go to the Navy Hospital, she stayed. I had to be temporary isolated from the ship for about three weeks at least I think it was on base at a barracks. This Japanese girl came from Tokyo every single day for that entire three weeks which was about 1.5 hr trip each way to the base barracks while I was in isolation just to bring me food and make sure I ate and was ok.
Every single day! She never fussed in any way about it. Even when I told her she didn’t have to come or bring me food, she willingly did it anyway. She was selflessness in qualities of a woman. That isn’t something you find much at all in the modern woman and a super rare quality today. I knew she was a keeper! We remained together for the entire next 5 years I was stationed in Japan till I had to be discharged from the Navy and return stateside. But she was a very special woman in qualities. And she showed much of it when I was really sick, down and out from the Chicken Pox episode and many times after later on. But that’s a Geen Flag quality in a woman, Selflessness and acts of Selflessness.
So why did u break up?
My common rule is if 98 percent of her social media is glamour shots trying to look sexy, thereby showing nothing of her personality, I don't bother.

What you want to avoid is the type of women who are constantly using social media and posting daily butt selfies, bikini pics, overly filtered glamour shots, and putting stupid ass captions to go along with it. You can tell a lot about a person, with how frequently they use social media, and the content they post.

1) A good relationship with their dad. If she hates her dad, that’ll be projected back to you eventually
2) can laugh at herself, doesn’t have to be perfect.
3) can handle it/roll when plans go sideways, like a cancelled flight or if you forget the phone charger or something.
4) biggest. She isn’t a heavy drinker/drugger. Intoxicants make for bad decisions/fights/fuck-ups, and shows a lack of self control & awareness.
My “now” ex came running into my life when we met, made me care, whe I didn’t meet all of her expectations she led me on for the last 5 months and broke up with me. I know I’m not completely innocent here but if she really cared she would’ve tried to talk it out. I’m done with girls without dads or any kind of relationship with their dads. Largest red flag there is cause all she did was use me as her emotional support blanket and I can’t live like that.
