Ive been using my pro knees as long as you and ive got no issues with them affecting my body, i use them to prep with and then change into the crain soft pads to install carpet with.

These are called Fentos here in the uk, this brand also uses the same stuff but rebrands it as you can see on the pad still really good knee pads

As other people have posted here...over here in Europe they're made by Fento. They're what I wear everyday for tiling....walls and floors. Not as comfortable as Wohlpro's, but better for the knees as your weight is dispersed across the shins.

What would be good, is if there was jeans with a leather pocket you could put carpet pad in at the knee.

There's actually a few company's that make pants with knee pad pockets. You could through some pad in there if you really wanted to! LOL

I find the pro knees very bulky

If I could find something better than Proknees then I'd wear them. I find myself walking bow legged when I'm wearing them because they're so bulky which I think is throwing my knee outta whack.

Please don’t tell me you wear those red shoes 👠. That’s your first problem get some boots. I promise you that foam isn’t going to last 5 years. I’ve had my pro knees for at least 5 years and they feel great. I put blue tape plus some other tape over the part that get the most wear and tear and they are holding up just fine. Truth be told one of the buckles just broke but some tape fixes that. I’m prob due for a rebuild kit or a new pair but they feel fine. Yes they cost around$250 if that but you do the math after 5 years. That’s $50 bucks a year and if you feel like arguing just go get some leathers and shut up. By the way I do union work so I can vouch for long work days.

$50 a month for 5 years equals $250? .....I think maybe you should re-do the math 🤣. But all joking aside. I've been doing flooring forever over 20 years. Proknees, so far, have been the best kneepads but I think I might just give these ones a try.
