I absolutely love how you treated the peppermint plant. So much respect. I bet that plant was quite happy after her interaction with you.
Mother nature is wonderful and should be loved and appreciated.

Some don’t know this thing I found out about the iPhone. If you take a pic of a plant, open the pic to view it, swipe up. A little leaf will pop up. Tap it and it brings up a plant name. Most of the time it is right. Sometimes it’s not… but it gives a place to start learning! It’s been so helpful.

Peppermint and spearmint are loaded with phytoestrogens. I heard a story of a town that they drank a lot of mint tea and because they drank so much of it, and because of its estrogenic effects they took note that it had a effect on men two and they were not as aggressive. I have a bunch growing in my front yard still here in the mountains. I know that menthol is made from these mints I just wonder how could I make my own so I can put it on my sore muscles?

What perfect gorgeous spot! Beautiful. I have fibromyalgia and I planted a bunch of mint and spearmint, which btw you have to watch the root system is pretty aggressive if not kept in check, planted to keep some insects away and, lol, as a filler in the flower bed! While trimming the off shoots I noticed my hands and other areas of my body the pain was gone! Like before I even realized it in no time. Just the oils dispersing in the air and on my skin. I got into the habit of picking a sprig on the way to the garden tucked in my shirt. One of the advantages of being a woman, the bra strap comes in handy! 😂
