Max I just want to take the time to thank you, I met you at the KI world cup in 2016-2017 in San Antonio. I was going through a very tough time, I had just joined the military and I was away from my family for the first time, I felt far from home and your videos always have me comfort. Your passion and energy during the tournament gave me a sense of happiness that I hadn't felt in a while at the time. I continued watching your videos all through my military career. But at that time you genuinely saved my life, I wouldn't have lived long enough to get married, have my kids and continue. All due to your love of fighting games, I know that may sound stupid but from the bottom of my heart thank you so much

There's a good number of drop-in leverless modules that you can drop into most regular fightsticks, for like $25. I don't know how much it would cost Qanba to manufacture or license something like this but they could hypothetically have a drop-in that can plug into the wiring harness they use for their joystick -- not complex at all.
My biggest issue with arcade sticks was always the fact that they weren't stationary and any needless movement interferes with the stick's input precision. Much like racing wheels (another fun investment) you don't want them to move and be very sturdy. So this was a good idea from Qanba. Thanks for sharing!

There's absolutely no way you're going to be able to organize that whole room. You need to move it to a bigger room. But I really think you like the chaos of being surrounded by unorganized gaming messiness.
That's really sick but also feels like why I've become a pad player over the last six months or so, just having and storing dedicated controllers for stuff (let alone then getting them out to use) is just beyond my capacity and desire these days. Having a room where you could just have that set up permanently as a modern arcade station and a racing rig and a VR area and run it all off the same machine would be super cool though.

I’ll be down for a version of this that had the option to switch to leverless, but I’d imagine that would be even more complex & expensive.
