Her Majesty the Queen encouraged the people of the Metal Kingdom to embark on a new journey to freedom. The concert of the new BABYMETAL started with this song. We sang loudly together, it was an amazing experience! I was so happy 😁.
Yes, that's how they opened the show. I was there, getting goosebumps all over.⚡️It was unbelievable. I also attended the most recent back-to-back concert at Yokohama Arena on 03/02-03/24. Unfortunately, I was seated far away from the stage, but I had a pretty good view of the entire crowd. It was amazing to see the whole area filled with religious fans moving in unison. There were also moments when the fans were chanting 'wall of death!' repeatedly. That was both scary and thrilling!🔥Babymetal is so amazing, but not a cult! 🤘🦊🤘
Great reaction. Yes this was the start of the concert at the end of January last year - their first live concerts in nearly 2 years as they broke the seal and returned from their hiatus. Of course that had to make it epic with the thrones and the acolytes with their OO (The Other One) logo staffs ... and this song which is the intro and first track on the album they released a month or so after these 'BABYMETAL Returns' concerts.
The Fox Gate has been open... Let the Metal Kingdom come! 🙌 "NotACult" 🦊🤘👑 Finally you did this reaction after more than a year. This was definitely the intro for the show when returning to live shows after hiatus. They also got another version with the full trio live at PIA Arena MM 2023. If they play this song outside of Japan most likely will be without this top notch production and with a dance version they already did at the World Tour 2023, although later they did that dance version in Japan when playing in a small venue for an exclusive show for fans. Anyway don't miss out the opportunity if they go back near your city. Next weekend F.Hero and Body Slam will release a collab song with BM called "Leave It All Behind", so stay tuned for more. See you next time lovely Anastasia.🦊🤘❤️
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 This MV is from Makuhari two-day show on Jan.28 /29, last year that was prior to New BABYMETAL began. I witnessed both shows at the venue. This was the perfect opening song. You saw one octagonal movable / elevatable stage but actually there were two identical stages that reciprocated on the long runway for more surprising production. Several drones with camera were flying around all over the venue. (Those drones were manipulated by drone racing experts) Once this opening song by Su and Moa got started, I had goosebumps all over my body. The show was held after the almost 2-year long hiatus after all. Seriously many of audience (including me) were moved to tears and/or dropped their jaws when the gigantic fox wall opened and the thrones came out. Yeah! I chanted all through the song. ♪ Oh oh oh o o o ♪. What a happy experience!! The Kami band was playing on the east stage that was not captured in this video.
to me when i heard this song when it came out, it feels like our Queen is inspiring her troops to go out for battle. this just feels like a grand intro to the cd.
Great reaction, and just think the fans had not seen them for nearly 2 years, and this was the first time seeing them just thinking about it gives me goosebumps😮😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
If you liked this version, on your free time you should check out the PIA Arena (April 2 2023 I think) It was the first show with Momo as an official member of the group and they have three thrones on stage. Also if you havent seen it, check out the live performance of Monochrome from PIA
To get to the front row of a babymetal concert in Japan is going to be tough. First you have to complete in the lottery system just to be able to buy a ticket...Then i think you get a section number so you will need a lot of luck to get to the front... BUT goodluck:)
I waited 12 hours in rain and cold just to get near the front on tour shows in February and twice in November 🥶 and twice in the summer 🥵 well worth it 😀🤘🏼🦊
I managed to get like 5th row from the front at the second night of Legend MM and whilst it isn’t as personally close as the front rows I had in Berlin or London it is still frigging amazing 😂
If you want the full Babymetal experience, you have to go to Japan to see them. Beware though, once you go and experience it, you won't be able to stop.
The general consensus amongst the fanbase, Japanese and American alike, is Madison Square Garden is inevitable. Don't know when..... we all just believe it's inevitable. They headlined the Forum in LA with their full on arena show, so you would think they could do MSG. Here's hoping. If and when it happens, all I've got to say is "Here, take my money!"
Nice Reaction. This was the regal return of Babymetal after their extended hiatus because of covid. They were worried that they would have to do virtual shows. Lucky for us that didn't happen. And we got this incredible show instead. Some worried the Kawaii was gone after such a serious show. But THIS IS BABYMETAL after all. And the Kawaii would soon return. In this very concert at that. But the ladies were ready to go on tour. And tour they did. The most shows in one tour for them so far. I too hope they come back to NYC. I keep waiting for them to play Madison Square Garden. They are booked to perform at the SSA. A stadium that holds 55k in Japan. Promises to be a big show. They performed there before. Doing back to back sold out shows. This was back when Yui was with them. Now it's time for the new member Momometal to go there. Her Birthday show happened and she sang Headbangaaaaaaaaaaa. Can't wait for the pro shot of that show to come out. I'm guessing to everyone surprise she also sang Meta Taro. An older Babymetal song. In the clips I saw so far Su and Moa were very happy for their new member. And they're releasing a new collaboration tomorrow with F.Hero and Thai Metal band Bodyslam. If your internet slows down you know what happened. LoL.
I think they make use of whatever the venue already has for their set ups for example the Yokohama arena has a crane that they used years ago to move them around above the crowd and at the recent performance for Momoko's birthday they used the same crane to lower her from the ceiling. Those moving platforms you often see them use are scissor lifts with a stage built on top of them so I am sure it does cost them quite a lot, it probably isn't as much as you might think, with the help of experienced set designers they can probably create an illusion of grandeur with fairly simple things.
I saw them in Seattle last year. Not a big venue. But good show. They opened with Death. Didn't get this song. Was a few thousand ppl. Maybe 3k 2500 around that. Wish I had better seats. Next time I'll get closer. Lol. Don't think k they doing a full US tour this year. I see just Vegas and San Fran. Sucks. Maybe 2025. I did post some videos on my channel from the concert.
Seeing them in Japan is something else for sure, seen them 2 times in Japan, can't even compare to Germany, Sweden and Norway where I seen them before.... 🤘🦊🤘
Hey Anastasia, you REALLY need to check out their song Monochrome Live. I'd also highly recommend checking them singing Monochrome on first take as well as that's also really cool. You get to hear Su-Metal really sing and appreciate her vocals without all the metal music in the background. It's just her, Moa doing her part of the song, and a piano and some violins, so you really get to hear Su really perform and it's beautiful.
Nope overseas concerts are normally not expected to be any compariason with japanese concerts. The don't rent complete 747s but that is what you would need for their crawler. And show me the locations in the US or Europe where these things should drive. Even in metall Kingdom you have one of their crawlers where Su and Moa meet. It simply pwers up and raises itself.
👍 👍 Great reaction........however. Below is a link to an ACTUAL LIVE HQ pro shot video with actual LIVE audio, crowd noise and Kami Band instrumentals not the MV you just reacted to with studio audio. Metal Kingdom LIVE at PIA Arena Yokohama th-cam.com/video/xd-lswJ2e3k/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared And this LIVE performance is so much more impressive. I hope you enjoy. Until next time.
