You did the tag!!! ❤ I loved hearing about the decks and why you picked them on top of learning more about the cocktails. Now I need to go to Hawaii for a Pina Colada!
I did it cause you recommended it. And yes, Hawaii for sure. Best pineapples, mangos, lilikoi, avocados, and so many other things like Sunsets. It is the only place I have ever had a great Pina Colada. Mexico probably has great pineapple too.
Oooo, I remember the New York Tarot! It's fantastic. They did a Paris one too, right? Maybe it'll come to me. We should do a photo deck of Hawaii. It would be a fun project. Hilda is a GREAT summer deck! I let Blood Moon go, but I enjoyed reading with it too, I found it very dreamy. My friend is sending me a deck from Chile, I can't wait to see what she found there. I picked Spirit Keeper's for the problem solver, but it's definitely a sipper as well. I love your Touchstone. It's one of my favorites! Sistine is so yummy. I'm so glad I grabbed one.😅 Every time I see R Black, I want it. Hopefully I can get it this time around. I need to try an Aviation. Tricky to find a good bar. Drowning World, huh? Another one I just never thought I would love.
That is actually a different deck. I know what you are talking about though. It is also a black and white NYC tarot but more buildings and less people, and yes, there was a Paris one of those. I am so excited to go to Hawaii, I think I might go over for Halloween, but I am torn because I love doing the fire pit and making Smores for everyone in Oregon. Maybe I will go right after. I will overlap with you on the BI. I love the Blood Moon when I am in certain moods, that dreamy quality is really perfect then, I am surprised you let it go.... Hilda, I always call it my summer holiday deck. Super excited to see your deck from Chile. I love getting decks from other places.
@@tarotgeektv I was in a mood when I sold Blood Moon, cleared out some beauties, but it's cool. I figured it would come back, hopefully bigger. I think the art deserves larger cards.
@@tamipie Agreed. I would love to see bigger cards with that deck. The art is so intricate. I love the deck though, it has such a hazy dreamy feel when I read with it, and it gives me something different. I am glad it is coming back in any form, we will see what they do with it.
I’m one of those rare people who don’t have the Thoth deck but DO want it! It’s just that I’m trying to pace myself and I know I’m not quite ready to dive into the Thoth system yet. But soon…
Hi Frakkyfire. Yes, it makes sense to wait until you have time to spend with the Thoth. The system is a little different and you might enjoy the deck more if you have the time to focus on it.
This was a super in-depth discussion of the drinks! I am a wine drinker, so it was great to hear your perspectives on not only the decks but the drinks as well. I accidentally left it out of my VR, but my Manhattan was SKT as well.
Ok, I am going to watch your video then. It was a fun tag to do. I like wine too. I took a bunch of the WSET wine classes about 10 years ago and it really helped me learn more about all the different types of wine out there. That was really fun, and it really made me appreciate wine. Glad you enjoyed the video, it was fun to film it.
@@tarotgeektv I love to study wines, too! I honestly could make a whole rift on this tag just with wine, hah. It's more up my alley than cocktails, but both are fun. 💗
Thank you so much for the review…. I have never seen this deck and would love to buy it and review it on my channel…. Can you send a link of where I can get it?? Thank you I am a happy subscriber of your channel….😊 I am talking about the first deck of the video… thnxxxx
Hi Mystic Rob, it was the Marea Tarot on kickstarter, and I think she is now selling it on Etsy. I am going to try and link all the decks for the videos I am making, but I am kind of slow getting those up sometimes. I will try and do it in a more timely manner. I think it is still for sale.
