However, if you push the tolerance too far, you could end up underweight-not intentional, just a miscalculation.
Yeah and also if you make the car lighter in areas you can move the balast around, I would imagine. IE gaining more posible options setup wise. Heavier left side, right side, heavier springs. They did the same thing with the tires air
The Darryl Wallace penalty and lack of William Byron penalty in the same picture frame, again shows the lack of consistency of Nascar rule calling. If you can see the blue of the track on both sides of the car, you obviously cut the corner! William did exactly what Darryl did seconds later and didn't get penalized, what gives?

Hailey Deegan will be out of motorsports as a driver in 3 years tops. Too much time doing social media stuff not enough pure dedication to motorsports. She has money so she has no excuse as to why she is not getting her sweet ass in any race seat she can to gain track time.
I'm wondering if they didn't try the old Daryl Waltrip lead shot in the frame rail with a hidden door. Cheating has been part of NASCAR since the beginning.

When a team wins and is caught cheating, they are fined but get to keep the win, which is usually a LOT more money. This happened to Jimmie Johnson in the 2006 Daytona 500. With that win they got to keep, they won the championship and took home over $20 million. To me that's worth a $100,000 fine for cheating.
I think Hailie has a better chance in open wheel. They can test anytime, it's more of a skill as your not going to wreck someone in an openwheel....imho
