Lady Chatterley's Lover IS an actual book written in 1932 by D.H. Lawerence but it's not a horror novel it's actually a smut book about an upper-class woman cheating on her husband with a working-class man. It was banned in many countries, including the US, back then because it used such foul language and was really graphic when describing the sex scenes. It describes Charlie's and Clare's affair perfectly. Keep up the great work!
Also, I have a small channel myself and YES it is SO HARD to talk and play at the same time, especially if the game requires a lot of attention like these sorta games do. You are doing a great job at it, bro!
One thing that I don't think you mentioned was the importance of Rouge with it. I think this implies that Arthur was abusive, which was why Clara fell for Charlie, because the rouge was used to cover up bruises, and the way they added the hairbrush suggested probably something along the lines of domestic violence: Arthur told her to keep up appearances when out in public, that they must retain the appearance of a happy couple. Second, yes, that book is a real book, I actually work with the people that maintains the DH Lawrence Ranch, where the author of that book stayed and died.
Your right about the makeup but not completely. Her letter to Charlie states that she her marriage was forced upon her when she really loved Charlie. Thanks to that she continued the relationship behind Arthur's back and when he started getting suspicious of something going on he likely became violent.
I lived in Colnbrook near Windsor and Heathrow, before moving westward. My local was the Ostrich pub, which was built around 1109. There were at least 60 murders committed there, even a bed with a large hinge which would tip wealthy merchants into a large vat of boiling liquid, the owner and his wife, called Jarman, were caught eventually, due to a merchant's horse being found wandering. The dates of the murders are confusing, either 12th, 16th or 18th Century, still grisly whatever the date.
There are websites that feature photos of the pub. The original name of the pub was 'The Hospice' but over time it became 'The Ostrich'. They used to have a full sized stuffed ostrich inside, close to the entrance. It has been 25 years since I've been there.

Just because you are from the UK, I did a school project (many years ago) about the reasons why people were persecuted and sent to Australia as punishment. The crimes people were punished for was truly eye opening. I believe that there is wine company now that has released wines with labels relating to these crimes. So cool. I actually quite like this one, it's well-done. Usually these loop-around games are incredibly boring, so I'm glad that they expanded on the idea and made it actually interesting with things to do, things to look out for, and real danger, instead of just mindlessly going around in circles going "oh look, that picture frame is rotated an inch! Hey Fooster, just wishing you congrats on another good video and dropping some intel for you and others. The book Lady Chatterly's Lover is actually a story of a married woman cheating on her husband after her was paralyzed from the waist down in The Great War. The story is basically a critique on love needing both physical and mental fulfillment wrapped up in a saucy narrative. It's an interesting read is you can get past some of the dated vocabulary of the writing.
This my favorite anomalies horror game that you've played on this channel so far, Fooster. I like it so much because of the aggressive anomalies which chase you around, compared to the passive ones in similar games.
Since discovering your channel I binged a lot of your old series like Ancestors and Far Cry Primal and I'm starting to run out, so each of your new uploads feels like a rare, precious resource ☺ Thanks for doing what you do Fooster, your content is endlessly entertaining.
If the pub is famous because a murder victim visited it prior to her death, then what about the bank, butcher shop, and cobbler she also visited that day? Are they haunted too???
The revealing clue as to the identity of the players character is when you first start the game, you come out of the woman's bathroom, so you are in fact - Clara's Ghost - coming to terms with the symbolism of the anomalies, pointing at How & Why she died.
Close to an hour of absolute enjoyment. I am one of the ones that watches these types all the way to the end and with that being said the impression of the comment section at the end was so randomly spot on I am now down one monitor. The camera shake and rage groaning caused me to involuntarily share my mouthful of hot tea with my monitor in a spray form...needless to say it is not a fan of tea, as the screen faded to black it was properly shamed for its lack of sophistication and informed it is now being replaced.
I kind of wish the bell would ring as many times rather than a new bell appearing, there's something that doesn't sit right with the pitch of individual bells.
