It’s obvious that you are trying to put malice on the decision of BBM to head DEpt of Agriculture FOR NOW. He just want to solidify the foundation before assigning the department to his appointee. What is so wrong about that. Or do you have any other way to solve the current problems of the country?

1. Build electrical power using solar, windmills, hydro & nuclear using unuse government & private lands including building n residential roofing. Congress may need to legislate to encourage private in public sectors to participate n support these projects.
2. Government & private companies to teach the public specially farmers about composting for organic fertilizers n provide them the wood chipper/ shredder. Many thanks & Godbless

It was during former President Ferdinand Marcos’ term in office that the Philippines realized what is now referred to as the “Golden Age of Agriculture”.
Inspired by his father’s legacy, Governor Marcos [1983 - 1986; 1998 - 2007] utilized agriculture for the economic development of Ilocos Norte. Under his leadership, the province saw an exponential growth in rice and corn production as well as livestock output.
As Senator, he filed the following bills to promote economic growth nationwide :
Senate Bill No. 14 : National Irrigation Program of 2013
This bill sought to establish a progressive and effective irrigation method that would accelerate agricultural production. It required various agencies to irrigate ninety-five (95%) of irrigable lands nationwide within a period of three (3) years from the effectivity of the said bill.
Senate Bill No. 1863 : Anti-Rice Wastage Act of 2013
The bill makes it unlawful for restaurants, hotels, inns and other eateries to refuse a customer’s request to serve less than a cup of rice. The bill was filed to encourage consumers from wasting rice when eating out.
Senate Bill No. 112 : National Seeds Production Act of 2013
The bill sought to establish a continuing national program for the production of hybrid and other quality seeds for farming purposes.
Senate Bill No. 409 : Philippine Soybean Authority Act of 2013
This bill sought to create the Philippine Soybeans Authority. It was filed to promote the cultivation, production, processing, marketing and distribution of soybean products.
Tobacco Excise Tax
During his tenure as Senator, BBM was known to constantly defend the interests of tobacco farmers against the unreasonable and disproportionate increase in excise taxes on tobacco products. According to him, the imposition of unreasonable excise taxes would destroy the livelihood of tobacco farmers and the tobacco industry as a whole.

Seing a LEADER here who takes true action and partakes another responsibility that he believes he can better handle not just a COMMANDER who let his people do all the work or beg for volunteers to do work for him and take credits himself. This Unity providing a different path of also introducing TEAMWORK in government in all aspects. That's probably the reason why he is so careful in getting people to be a part of his team. Not just by expertise, by experience but by the capability and tendency of providing fast implementation. The focus is clearly seen, the goal he wanted to fulfill and a visionary who anticipates the future. The difference of a leader who have a good organizational skills tends to think more, study first before coming out with a decision compared to a leader who are impulsive and only pure talks, who prioritize publicity.

Halimbawa, ang isang machine combine harvester ay kayang i-operate ng iisang tao lamang; kaya nitong gagawin ang trabaho ng maraming manual harvesters. Sana po ay kasama sila sa inyong mga plano.
